I HATE LIVING IN A TRAILER PARK!

OK, I have to vent! It is now 7:56am and i only went to sleep about 6 hours ago. What do i get to wake up to at 7:15 this morning?! A freakin bobcat filling a hole in in the yard of the community office 10 feet from my bedroom window!!! Ok, now i know i said i lived in a trailer park but it is SUPPOSED  to be a nice one, my place is big and new but apparently that doesnt matter to anyone that is supposed to be a professional around here! I guess quiet hours must end at 6 here! So, i geuss next time im working on the stereo system in my truck and i want to turn it up at 3PM, and the office cow, OPPS i mean office lady comes out and tells me to turn it down because they can hear it, i will just tell her where she can... i think you get the point! So, now im awake, and not happy about it! Oh, and bye the way, this isnt the first time! They dug the stupid hole at 7am about a month ago! SO NOW, its 8:05 am and they are done with their dirt that is oh sooo important! They couldnt wait, oh i dont know about 4 hours to fill in a hole! I geuss it must have been high priortity because they do such a great job keeping all the 10 million potholes around here that they plow out during the winter, (because they do such a great job of blocking my driveway with piles of snow because they dont know how to plow)! Well, I think ill go fishing now, that is if i can back the truck out of the driveway because the "maintenance guys" like to park directly behind my driveway so i have to get about a half an inch from them to get out! That of course is after i go out and tell some random giant fat people to get them and their van out of my driveway because i wouldnt go to their house and park in their driveway for the fun of it! Or would i?? hmmm that might be fun. Bottom line, if you ever get the opportunity to live in a "manufactured home community" and are considering it just to have a little more space then your 1300sq. foot apartment, DONT, its not worth it! I can seriously see why this place is less expensive than my apartment. People are very disrespectful on a daily basis, the office people are worthless, they dont follow their own no parking on the street at anytime rules, the maintenance guys suck, the consumer bills are outrageous, and if you can afford to live in a place that costs you over 1300 per month then you should just buy a house with a bunch of land and live happily ever after!

Thanks for reading and probably laughing at my situation

I feel your pain baby. Go catch some fish and cool off. I went Saturday and got skunked again but it was a nice day on the lake.

Let me put you at ease because you are not alone. Take me for example. For the first 6 month in our new house we had no neighbors then one day they cleared the lot on our bedroom side of the house. No problem we could use a little company here, maybe they will be decent people and we can all BBQ together. Now I was on the day shift at that time so I did not have to get up until 6am. It seems that Veterans day looked like a good day to pour the slab at 4am in the morning. Due to a lack of moonlight they decided to bring along some of those big highway light type trailers with generators on them. I guess there was some reason they could not drive on the empty lot on the other side of the new house so they had to drive the cement truck down between our house and theirs. Remember our bedroom backs up to that wall with our heads right against that particular wall. Being up tow hours early did nothing for my attitude. Let see I called the builder and left several nasty and threating messages as well as the cement company.

Now I am in the bathroom to get ready for work and I hear watter running. For some reason they thought it was a good idea to hook up a garden hose to my faucet on that side of the house. Well I grab the large branch trimer I have in the garage and proced to the faucet where I cut the hose that was atatched to our house. Then I removed the handle to turn it on so it would not be used again. They got a little upset when I cut the hose and I thanked them for waking me up two hours early and for not asking to use our hose outlet. They said they need water to finish the job so I told them that was not my problem and to keep off my property.

Well another week goes by and at 6am on Saturday morning they decided it was a good time to lay all the block for the house. So I now have a full mason crew mixing mortar, building scafolding platforms and running a gas powered block cutter. Well this was all I could take and I actually called the sheriff to have a deputy come out. I have some dogs that don't like anyone that comes to the door so they have been barking all morning. They talked to them and told them to try and keep it down but there was not much he could do because there is no noise ordinance in the county. Well don't you know these block layers actually sent a guy over to the door to see if they could use my water this time. Only problem was that the dog tried to go through the door as I was opening it up because I thought it was the deputy. Well the door flew out of my hand as I tried to stop the dog and the door handle poked a nice 2" hole through our drywall.

Now I am out in the yard with the mason spokesman back pedaling across the yard in fear of my dog. He then says "Do you mind if we use your water?" Lesson learned from the slab crew I guess. So I first thank him for not bringing the donuts to this early Saturday construction party. Then I chew him out for what just happened to my wall and tell him to let the builder know he needs to send someone to fix my wall now. Then I procede to tell him to (this will never make it past the censor) and I felt bad for him being on the recieving end of my tirate for about 2 seconds then I got over it. So now I am on the phone with the builder again leaving a nasty message that I will be over to see them later today about being a good neighbor when building a house. After many attempts to get them to fix my wall I had to do it myself. So I placed several signs in my yard complaining about the builder and discouraged everyone who came to look at the house for a good while. Eventually I got a decent neightbor that moved in.

He likes to mow his grass about 7pm for some reason. He can usually make two passes before he has to empty the bagger and restart the mower. One of my dogs absolutly hates him and will go nuts when he hears him outside. He knows I go to bed at 5pm to get up at 1:15am to get ready for work. I have to keep reminding him of this fact to which he apologises until he forgets a couple of weeks later. Sometimes he does stay up late drinking and playing dominoes in his garage right outside our bedroom with some of his other friends that have lost the mufflers to their cars. Usually the stereo he installed in the garage drowns out the noise unless they have a wild hand. I got used to his security lights coming on everytime a car drive by and sets them off due to them not be adjusted correctly. He got talked into one of those big water purification plants and they installed it next to his well on our side of the property line. It has a couple of 6 foot tall tanks and a 55 gallon drum of something that get pumped into the system to purify all this natural spring water our wells draw from. I can't wait to sell this house and move half way across the country.

You gotta love Florida I have a neighbor that flies the confederate flag on his flag pole. I spared you the 2 year saga of trying to keep dirt bikes and pick up trucks from mudding in the water retention pit behind our house. I just called our local movie line and I can not understand anything they are saying except the times. Boy I can't wait to move to Texas.

Texas ain't no great shakes either. We can't go to the local movie bunker at the mall without having to endure the gang bangers. It's getting so that we can only go to the movies during early sunday matinees if we want to have a good experience.

Gov Rick Perry is holding rallys advocating seceding from the US. So if you want to leave the country, come to Texas.

The last movie I watched in a theater was the second one of the new Star Wars series so I got that taken care of. Perry's got my vote for next term if I am there. Sign me up for my Texas country welcome package and I will get a passport to visit the rest of the US if I ever need to leave once I get there. Just another reason to move for us.

I LOVE TEXAS!!!!

If they do break away I'll probably try to move there.;)

I've been there dozens of times all over the state I have always enjoyed my time there.

NC will do for now, we really like it out here. (I really want to move down to SC someday. We'll see.)

(And to think we actually considered moving to Fla. instead of NC. when we left California.):D
