  2. Here is an example of the setup for wide and narrow E columns for 16.9 oz Coke bottles: https://rc.cranems.com/Uploads/2001-954-02.pdf

  4. Can anyone help me identify the following machine? Seller is saying it is a Vendo machine and has provided some blurry photos... doing some googling I was unable to confirm concretely. I believe its a GF-6 but can someone with more experience confirm? Located in AZ Daniel
  5. i don’t really see the appeal in crane machines. how much joy can a small plush animal(this is all i ever see in them)really give you? there’s no play factor, there’s no satisfaction from eating/chewing something factor. the cost to buy one, the maintenance, the percentage the owner would likely want for having one of those huge machines… no thanks. they are popular now though. a lot of my locations that used to only have my gumball machines, have cranes moving in next to them. hopefully they break easily lol
  6. @AZVendor Didn't ask for the key for it. He owns the machine, but he is not the one servicing it (the guy servicing it stopped and the machine was just left there without anything). Thanks for the advice @AZVendor and @ABCVending.
  7. I think the 501E had a specific setup for those bottles for both the wide and narrow columns. It's been a while since I've had my hands in one.
  8. Hey everyone, I just had a quick question I wanted to throw over here so I knew the answer. I don't have any dixie narco machines as of now, but I want to be ready if I ever do. So if I wanted to vend 16.9 oz bottles out of a 276E or 501E, what would I have to change with the machine. Programming wise, and mechanical wise. Would 12 oz can, or 20 oz bottle shims be better for 16.9 oz bottles. Is there another dedicated shim for them? I really have no idea. Ive never dealt with shims before, so this would be a first.
  9. We have a bunch of these Witterns - HR40 or 31 series - generally decent machine. Used in rough shape - agree w/AZ $500-$750 is a good deal if everything works. For a clean one with quality coin mech and val would go $1000 if we needed it.
  10. My first moving truck was a new '85 1/2 ton Chevy that handled everything I put in it though I rarely did 3 machines at that time due to the scary liftgate I had. I will admit I never went back to 1/2 tons after that though. From there I used a '93 Ford F250, a '03 Ram 2500, a '08 Ram 3500 and then a Chevy 2500. All worked very well and I still have the last Chevy with 258000 miles on it. I also got the largest platform gates I could buy at the time and remote power cables as well for one man operation.
  11. I believe you guys are correct. I was just pointing out that the configuration he mentioned was for "$1 only".
  12. I think AZ is correct in that the 6/7000 series OEM board did not allow $5 bills. Remember, that machine was built in the mid 1980s and was one of the first machines designed to take bills.
  13. On a VN bill acceptor, setting all switches to "off" is the factory setting for $1 accept only. If you were able to accept a $5, you would be returning daily to refill your quarter tube.
  14. And good leaf springs. It can be scary putting a 79" drink machine on a truck that squats like dog leaving a log on the ground.
  15. 800-344-7216 - follow prompts to our parts dept. They should be available through your local distributor though. Vendo pn 1122856. I think the -50 you added to the number indicated a 10 pack of those parts.
  16. That is a USI HR40 more than likely. It has a Snackmart 6 (SM6) logic board in it which is MDB capable and it had I-Vend (drop sensor) when it was new. That may or may not work now. It's generally a good machine. I'd give maybe $500 for it in it's nasty condition and knowing nothing more about it. Does he have a key for it?
  17. I had no issues with my vfm bill acceptor. Minus the fact that it was old. The purpose for my upgrade was to be able to accept $5 bills. I was under the impression that if I bought a new/used bill acceptor and a harness to connect the new acceptor with the current logic board, everything would work accordingly. Now I have to upgrade my board to be able to have this ability??!!! The upgrade was not that serious. I was just trying to offer my customers another option. Lesson learned on this mistake. Next time buy a more updated machine. (SMH)🤦‍♂️
  18. Hi, Checked this snack machine earlier and would like to offer the owner to buy it but don't know the value I didnt see the model number and make, anyone can identify this? Thanks. Can this machine be installed with a card reader? How much should I offer for it? The owner don't know if still working or not. Thanks to anyone who can help me.
  19. I'm not sure what you consider to be absurd. I rent from Penske and Enterprise truck rentals regularly. I usually end up paying about $250-350 per day to get all of my moves done.
  20. First of all, set your bill acceptor switches to short pulse and then the bill acceptance to $1 only because the AP logic board is not capable of accepting 5s. You would need to put an InOne Technologies board in it to take more than 1s.
  21. When I was reloading my Vendo 621 machine, the can step fell off and, in an attempt to put in back in its’ place, I fat fingered it and broke the little plastic hooks. I’ve been looking all over the internet for this little piece of plastic. After a lot of research, I found that the part number is SVN1122856-10, but the only available part is over 35 bucks from Mexico. Does anyone know a more affordable place to buy these things? Thanks

  23. Get a liftgate truck from Penske. If you call and say your a commercial business they will give you a higher day rate but a really cheap mileage rate. Same with Ryder, but they are business only. Budget truck is really cheap but their rigs are pretty beat up, and not a whole lot of locations or liftgate availability.
