  1. Can You help me fix my soda machine Mark an error  on the  screen That SAYS  pdc move y-motor  the  refrigerator  does  not cool  pease someone could help me thanks.

  2. I can absolutely tell you without a doubt that there is NO way of turning off this sensor. You also cannot simply unplug the sensor. I was under the same impression that you were. I mean there had to be an easy way of doing this from a menu option...but absolutely there is not. Clipping these wires is a quick and easy fix. The other option is to cut the wires and put a male and female connection on each end and reverse the male and female connection on the other wire. For example. On the blue wire, cut it and put a male connector on the wire towards the control board and a female connector towards the sensor. On the black wire, cut it and put a female connector on the wire towards the control board and a male connector towards the sensor. now connect the male connector of the blue wire to the female connector of the black wire...and you have now jumpered around the sensor. If for some reason that you wish to restore normal service and configuration, simple reconnect the male and female connectors of the blue....and the male and female connectors of the black and it is back to normal. At any rate, this is what I did two years ago on 2 DN 5591's and my phantom beeping and error message to remove product have went away. Travis
  3. I have not had anywhere near that number of misvends with these machines. As long as you have them shimmed correctly, they should vend just fine. Attached is a photo of the sensor, follow the sensor cable up to the main control board. You will want to cut the outer conductors (in the picture it would be the Black and the Blue) and short (connect) them together back towards the main control board.....leaving them unconnected back towards the sensor. This would basically tell the control board that it is ALWAYS seeing the sensor. Now as mentioned in previous posts, this will prevent you from sensing a mis-vend, or a product left in the delivery chute, however I have done this with 2 5591's for over two years and have NEVER had to bottles hit and break, or see an increase in misvends and angry customers. I will also say, do this at your own risk and be careful. Also, remove power from the machine BEFORE doing this work. If you do decide to do this, ensure that you test afterwards to ensure full operation (other than the drop sensor). Travis
  4. Yep....... http://vendiscuss.net/index.php?/topic/4467-dn-5591-issues/page__hl__5591 I did this....as recommended and it worked just fine!
  5. I was thinking the same thing. Take a ohm meter, check the operation in circuit....an if it's just a simple switch, then just jumper them together, apply power and give the machine the smoke test. No smoke, and it passes Travis
  6. Long story short. When I purchased the machine (used), they had the switch rotated to point up, and a small piece of plastic holding the switch down so when the door was opened, it would not turn off the compressor. I put the switch back to the normal position and ran the machine for a couple of weeks, and I started to get CAB1 switch errors (lots of them...like 20 - 30 in a week). Eventually the unit froze over and I lost my inventory. After that failure, I rotated the switch back up and put the plastic in-place....and the errors did not return, and I ran great for about 3 months. Recently, the errors started to return and the unit failed again. While checking the switch....I noticed that just a little bit of motion could trip the switch for a quick second and I'm thinking that this brief interruption is causing issues with the defrost cycle. I have since ty-wrapped the switch closed, but I would just rather remove it completely if possible. Since I have one machine without the switch and one with it....it seems to be able to be removed without much issues. Thanks Travis
  7. You know....I have 2 320's....one has it and one doesn't. Wonder if it was taken off in older models? Travis
  8. Actually, not the 310 tower...but the 320 cabinet (frozen side). This is the switch on the lower right hand side of the outside door, not the interior door. Hope that makes sense! Travis
  9. I would like to bypass the door Interlock switch on the outside door of an AP320. This is the door that you would open to get access to the Cooler Deck, not the inner door that you would open to restock. Switch is located on the bottom right. Is this a simple process? Thanks Travis
  10. They are typically afraid that if you know where the location is, some "less-honest" people would just contact the owner of the spot and tell them that his current vendor is trying to sell their spot and then try to get them replaced for free by offering better service....etc. Travis
  11. Yep, they are mostly on the west coast. Sales to the food industry. Travis
