When I started out 6 years ago, there was a member on here (kai1836) who sold me 3 Ultravends for like $30 each. I bought 2 more off Craigslist I believe for about the same price. They have all been sold off except for 1. It is still on a route making money. It's in an office so it really doesn't get any abuse. Only thing I have ever done is clean it. Never had a broken mech or chute door or anything. I buy the little container of 1/2" gumballs from Walmart and have it set to vend 2 or 3 for .25 in one of the cylinders. It has long ago paid for itself. I think they have their place in bulk vending.If they were made with just 2 compartments they would actually be pretty good machines. I would buy them again if the price were low enough. The yellow and black is a little more pleasing to look at versus the dull grey of the Vendstar.

Your'e crazy. If he has no cost of goods then it will all be profit when he sells it. Which then can be subtracted from the amount paid for the machines.

I picked up some old Toy N Joy 1" machines last summer while running a route. I saw them setting next to a fence and stopped and talked to the guy. Said his wife wanted $150 for all 6 and a 2" Victor setting an a rack. The 1" machines were .25 and the Victor was .50. I picked them all up for $50. They will make good GB machines.

Some big chain fast food places have run these in the past as charity machines. They do make some good money. Not sure how much free stuff was given away. Servicing these would be a pain in the golpher, having to get coins out of the water.

I've had some dealings with their corporate side as well. Particularly, their accounts receivables dept. I could not make them understand that if I paid with a debit card, there was no way I had a several hundred dollar balance. Turns out after a couple of years arguing with them, They had some manager stealing from them. How he did it with debit cards I dont know. I was never double charged on any of my visits. The toughest part was getting it off my credit report. I do not do business with them anymore. No way I would stick a machine in there.I get my oil changed at a dealership now, and I do have a machine in there.

These ones are for the Vista. I got a bunch of mechs but the faceplates are pitted and corroded on a bunch of them.
