How fast can you place them? If you can get them out quick and average $6-$7 a head you could get $300.00 back in month. It might be worth putting them on a credit card and paying a little interest. You could also sell a few off. If you can sell some for $20 - $25 in a month you could be break even or better.

We don't usually drop off until after Hallowen, but we are doing full-line.

It would surprise me if he doesn't know the current price. If he "thinks" it is 60 or 65 cents my guess is the price is 70 - 75 cents.

People will never embrace the $1.00 coin until you stop printing the bill. In Canada they just ceased making the ones. A few years later they stopped the two dollar bill and made a $2.00 coin. People grumbled about the extra weight in their pockets for a while, then they got used to it because there was no choice. Our $1.00 coin has 11 sides and is the same size and color as yours. It really isn't hard to tell the difference from a quarter. People just don't like to change. A customer of mine used to give all his change to his kids at night. A month or so after the $1.00 coin was introduced he realized he was giving his kids $5.00 to $10.00 a day. Needless to say he started spending the dollar coins!
