  1. Hi Folks, I have now sold the four SAECO coffee machines that were in perfect working order. I now have two machines, one stand, one coin op and several cups. These are free to anyone who wants them. I am in Birmingham, Al. the packing costs about $200.00 to get them on pallets securely, and the shipping costs. You can also come get the machines. I don't know if the machines will work, but they have all parts.
  2. Hello folks, If anyone is interested, I have 2 new Saeco 200 and 2 used. I origionally bought six machines and had plans to start a coffee business. The timing just never worked out so if anyone here is interested in them let me know, make an offer.
  3. I was talking to someone in the parts dept of Seaga and he asked if I knew Canmax was closing due to bankruptcy, Don't know if it's true or not.
  4. I have just heard that CANMAX has filed bankruptcy, and that new machines can now be purchased from Saega!
  5. Hi Folks, and thanks for your help and suggestions. Sorry I havn't been back for a few days, Turns out, one of the compression connestions in the back of the machine had failed, and when the water pump started, it sprayed water on one of the electrical connections. The connection that failed is part 15 on page E018.083.05 of the manual (exploded boiler page). It failed where it connects to part 21. The tubing is 1/8 so i'm having little trouuble finding that size, the hardware stores only stock down to 1/4. This is an easy fix. Thanks again, John
  6. Hi Folks, need some help. One of my machines seems to have a short. It was running fine, then it just stopped, and threw the breaker switch. When I turn the breaker back on, the machine starts, then when it starts to cycle, it popps the breaker again. Can any of you tell me where to start looking for what is causing the problem. I am not tech or trained to repair so I'm kinda learning as i go. Thank you!!
  7. Absolutely, and I apologize I should have provided that when I posted. To adjust th brightness of the LED display : Open the door of the cabinet. If you have removed the plastic cover look to the three red programming buttons. Then from the bottom button (free vend) look to the right. You will see a blue box with a yellow screw with a + in the middle. This + is for a very small phillips head screwdriver. Use the screwdriver to turn the screw to adjust brightness. Hope this helps, and thank you for all of your help and info...especially Grate Dane.. I do now have four machines..three are now placed at $500 per month each...not vending, in offices for coffee service.
  8. Thanks for your help. The brightness just needed to be adjusted, and I found out how to do that. Thanks again. John
  9. does anyon know how to adjust the brightness on the LCD readout on front of the machine? I have two that are perfct, and two that the letter boxes are so ark it's hard to read.
  10. Hi Jaun and welcome. The forum used to be very active, and extremely helpful, but lately there are few posts. I am a new operator of the SAECO 200 sg, and the information in this forum has been extremely helpful. Hope we can get it active again.
  11. Hi Guys, great form, and truly a lot of help!! I need your help...I have two brand new, in the box mchines. When i set them up, the language is in Italian. I thought that when I used the chip to transfer, this would solve the problem, but on both machines, I turn them off, insert the transfer chip, turn on the machine, I get the message transfer..vm to key. I pressed the + sugar button, but nothing happens, I can't get the message to change to key to vm...any suggstions or help would be greatly appreciated.
  12. Hi Kiwi, and thanks for your guidence and counsel. I am pretty much retired so this is kind of a hobby I'm looking into. I have a lot of contacts here in the Birmingham area, and my business model will not be vending, but placing the machine in offices. The Saeco machine makes sense to me because I did see the machine in action, and it makes a great product. Technical assistance is a problem for me because I am not a technician and am just starting to learn about the machine. I am just today setting up a machine with only 3 cups on it, but the language on the machine is Italian!!
  13. I just begin to set up a new machine, 3 cups and never out of the box. Got everythng set and turned it on. The language is Italian and I can't program the machine. Does anyone know how to change the language..it's got to be somewhere in the programming menu, and I've tried cruising through the menu but no luck.
  14. I am looking to buy used machines in good working condition. I also need technical assistance in Birmingham, Alabama if anyone has any ideas please let me know. This is a great Forum..Extremely helpful to all of us. Guys please keep it up!! John
  15. Hi Dan, I just purchased my first machine and when it was shipped I'm having problems with it. It givs me error **14** which seems to be a sensor. I have called SECGA and they are very helpful with parts. 815-297-9500. i talked with Sue who ordered the parts for me. Dave is the tech guy who works on the machines. I've already got this one placed, just have to get it repaired. Good luck to you.
