  1. I'm so happy that paper money is around, as a teenager that is all I use is cash. I don't even plan on getting a credit card when i'm older because carrying around cash makes me so much more conscience of how much money I actually have. I do have an atm card, but I only use that when the bank is closed. If I had a credit card, I would probably be in debt so fast, it wouldn't be funny. It is what happened to my brother in college.
  2. Yeah I'm feeling the pinch, paying for gas is taking up half my pay check every week now, it is really pissing me off. Lurker, just remember I don't own buzz bite vending machines quite yet, so I can't tell you monthly revenues for the machines, I want to own some in the future so that I will have some extra income for college, so I will be able to do other stuff then sitting in my dorm room studying all the time. All I'm saying is that I'm doing pretty bad because gas prices are going up, and I know that any business that has to ship things are raising their prices too. For example my mother has culinary place and she has to raise her prices, because her food shipping company has raised theirs.
  3. I think it has a lot to do with the economy, every where i go, I hear of people raising prices just because the gas prices keep on rising so it is more expensive to ship. It is hitting every business, food, design, and of course vending.
  4. Yeah, we should make a coin mechanism just for the old gold dollars, one vend and we would be good for the year.
  5. LOL, I wish there was a quarter that was worth a million.
  6. Where could a person get VendTrak? Is it really that much better than just trying to set up a template on excel?
  7. I think of everything as a business opportunity, I mean if you want to start any business it takes money for equipment and start-up inventory. It is just the amount of risk that a person might have to take. A person starting their own business could take a huge amount of risk paying around $200,000 just to start up something. In vending, it could be the difference of paying 300 to 15,000 for a machine. It is all up to the person on how much they are willing to risk.
  8. Yeah you said it Duke23 good true to be true. But hey, maybe you hit the jackpot. Hopefully it is the jackpot for you.
  9. Or you could just get one of those big boxes from Costco.
  10. When looking for charties, you should go with the one that you really like, doesn't matter if it is a local or national one. But 15%-20% sounds about right.
  11. Anyone else like to play hockey? That is my hobby, feels more like my life playing almost five times a week. Watching football is also amazing.
  12. They look interesting, but it also looks like they might have a lot of upkeep with all that goes on in one vend. Many things might go wrong, at least they do give the one year warranty. What places did you have in mind to place it at?
