  1. I wanted to come here in the New Year, and thank everyone for the help over the last 10 years. Unfortunately, James, known here as Elvin passed away in September, and I have decided to sell the business, as it isn't something I can do alone with 3 small kids, having MS, and 50 accounts. I have found a buyer, he's new to the business, but I have confidence that he will prosper in this endeavor. I have already told him to come here, set up an account, and read, read, and re read the information found in these here files. Krissy Elvin
  2. I have a Vendo 720, and today while on location, a customer told me that for the last 2 weeks, they have not been able to purchase any RockStar using their card. Sure enough, it only authorizes $1.50, which is well below the cost of the drink. Any way to adjust the max auth amount ?
  3. Ok. Thanks. I will give them a call. The machine is probably 25 years old, so I bet it has a lot of vends.
  4. I have a problem with this 633, where occasionally the brewer will get off alignment and not seal when it is brewing. It then goes ahead and dumps half the coffee in the bottom of the machine. If I take the brewer off manual move the mechanism and put it back on it work for a few weeks then does the same thing again. I only have three of these machines, so I am not familiar with what it takes the fix the brewer. Is there a kit that can rebuild these, or is there someone that sells these? Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks!
  5. I went and changed it back to 110v today and it is now giving dollar coins for change, so I bought myself some time. I think the display was the issue I was having when I put the newer board in before. What do I need to do to correct that? Thank you for all the replies. You are all a hugh help!
  6. Just to be clear . . . I attached a photo of the board. Thank you for all your replies. The problem I am having now is this machine is doing about 10 times the volume that I thought at the location, and now I am going to need to switch it out unless I can get this figured out.
  7. Just to make sure I understand . . . I cannot change out this board with a newer one on this same machine can I? (I had tried to use an "E" board and it did not work).
  8. Yes. It is the one with the red button. It seems like the MDB is not capable of sending info to the coin mech to tell it to give out dollar coins, so it will only really work with a three tube. It does work with the 4-tube with the 110v setup (VN2511 and VN4000), so I guess I can go back to that, but I guess I had bigger plans. Anyhow, thanks for the reply.
  9. I have a 501 with an s2d board. I switched it to MDB and put in a VN 2512 and VN4510. When I put a $5 bill in, it credits it, but then gives change with nickles, dimes, and maybe some quarters, will not give $1 coins as change (it quickly starves the small coins). It will accept the $1 coins and put them in the tube, but never gives them as change. Anyhow, do these older mdb boards have a hard time with the 4-tubes? I have switched the board, and the coin mech and same issue. I am thinking of just putting this back to 110v, but I wanted to install a credit card reader. Any thoughts on this? Thanks.
