  1. They would be fine just use a high quality spray paint.
  2. I have several condom machines out on location as we speak. Yes they do take a beating so you have to be very careful with what types of machiens you buy. Most of those cheaper machines it is very easy for someone to break into. A good hard jerk and they can remove the front covers from them. A high quality condom machine will run you some where in the $75.00 per column range. Plus what ever you decided to go with on locks. Barnett International is who I deal with out of Charolette NC http://www.barnettinternational.net/. They have a wide selection in product. It will be very difficult to sell them in a 50 cent vend due to the price of product. Unless you don't have to pay a commission and good luck in a bar getting that one worked out.
  3. I have owned a 1998 Tacoma and it was an excellent truck. But if you are wanting to become a serious vendor you are going to have to have a van of some sort. I am kind of one sided on this (becuase I have 3 of them on the road) but I have good reasons. In a extended cab truck you are very limited on the amount of space you have to haul merchendise. I read in your post that you are more toy oriented in your routes and all you will need to do is carry a small amount of candy in the cab. Well what about the rain/snow/ or other form of precp that may fall while you are on a route. Well you will have limited protection even if you do purchase a bed cover. A van offers you plenty of storage while keeping your merchendise secured and DRY!!!! Also vans are not that bad on gas. You are talking about a 6 cylinder truck getting 20mpg we bought a 2008 van last year that averages 20-22 mpg highway or 425 to 500 per per 32 gallons depending on which route we are running (mountains or flat lands). If it was me and I had your desecion to make it would be a van with out a dought. Plus you can get a rather nice van 2000 - 2001 model for cheap. Around my area of the country I can buy them all day long for less then $10.000. Find yourself a wholesale car dealer who will let you travel to a car sale and go check them out. That is the only way to buy a used van.
  4. Yeah the sticker machine is a little more narrow I believe.
  5. That is one thing I would be worried about having my equipment sitting on a counter with nothing but suction cups securing it. That would just be to easy of a nab for someone wanting to score a couple of easy dollars. I know you are going to say it will be right in front of the employees. "MOST" of the time the employees are the ones you have to watch anyways. They don't care who takes off with that machine. Also having a machine attached to something (stand) will detour someone from taking it which one is easier to carry?
  6. I don't listen to these namby-pamby safety nazis, nor let them bother me. If you stand up to them, they'll SHUT UP. I've never lost a location to them, either. Kids can choke on ANYTHING. I am giving you a standing ovation
  7. Yeah those machines are just about as easy as it gets. Remove a couple of screws and you can take the entire machine apart.
  8. Yes it is the Beaver what ever modile, but the cool thing about those machines is with a 9 volt battery and assuming the voice box still works it will laugh and talk like a clown.
  9. Try to tighten the lock a little bit and then try to open it. Sometimes the lock will cross thread on a rod and it is just enough to make it tough to open. It dosn't cause an damage to the rod so go ahead and try to tighten it.
  10. I will sell this prodcut to you all day long for $49 to $50 dollars holly cow. Yes turn and run as far as you can. 2" toys are a good way to go, and no you do not have to have them on a rack. If you already have a small triple vend or someother small setup and 2" vendor from A&A on a nice pipe stand will work wonders. Plus the pipe stand is cheaper then a whole rack setup.
  11. The only problem I see with this is that most hotels/motels will give you a small travel size portion of toiletry items if you forgot anything. This is even with the lower budget places, so I don't know?

    Keys?

A locale locksmith can key the machines for you fair price.
  13. I agree with chowchow, the phone you will have very limited success. You need to hit the streets and expect to get told several times before you get a yes. As far as a pitch it depends on if you are going commission or charity. Just speak to them and tell them your intent and that either you can make them some extra spending money or make a charity some money either way. If they say no just look at them and smile and say thanks, then walk out the door.
  14. Wow now I have seen it all!!!!
  15. Yeah call A&A and they have a kit to take care of that, I think it cost a coupld of bucks if that much!!
