  1. Get a website for your company with very good SEO , prepare a great looking brochure explaining your services along with email campaigns and cold calling. You need to do all the above. Good website in my opinion is your best tool to get you into the door. We found door to door knocking was least effective.
  2. IMO if you have access to good fresh food at reasonable prices then Micro market would be a great addition. Management will say all the right things about theft but not many will implement it. Having cameras covering every inch is a must. Kiosk makers are very greedy , you need to be very careful in negotiating their fees so shop around for Kiosks.
  3. I don't think that should be a problem with any seller. They can show the person who is currently letting them into the facility. We always have at least one contact in the facility who will let you into the facility. They may or may not be facilities manager or in charge of vending machines.
  4. My two cents. Ok question here when you are selling a route, unless you have a contracts with locations which you could share with buyers , what exactly can you do with locations with no contracts. Decision makers who let you put the machines might not even work there any longer. You are just going and filling the machines as part of your routes. Where would you take the buyer other than showing them the machines and locations. Locations are not obligated to share their employee details. We recently sold few locations where we did not have any contracts , all we did was let buyers come with us while servicing 3 times and then we went with them for couple of time once they took over. They changed the contact label on the machines during our last service together.. It has been over year, they are still doing well at those locations.
  5. We are able to get into service mode and change price along with other things.
  6. Yes, it is changing from 4 to 2. But is happening only to first two columns.
  7. Hello All, We have a Pepsi HVV vendo 621. The depth for first two columns is set for cans at 4 but last two times or three times we have noticed the depth is changing by itself to 2. Everything else works fine except the set depth for these two columns, Any ideas on what is going on. Thanks again for your help.
  8. How are they still charging monthly and processing fees.
  9. Hi All, Is anyone else having issues with their seedlive after their update. We are not seeing any reports from Cantaloupe for last two day wither. I don't know if customers are able to use their cards either. Anyone else having similar issue since Sunday.
  10. I am an software engineer by profession. I got into business due to healthy vending. Quickly realized that was a scam. Didn't want to leave business as a failure so put in lot time to make it a success , I did go to 75 plus machines. Then realized business is not scalable or resalable and is taking way too much of my time. My time was worth much more spending somewhere else. Then covid happened, have sold all but three locations. They all have 7 machines each.
  11. We cannot keep up with the pace. It is taking too much of our time.
  12. As long as the buyer can get their own accounts so they could order inventory from them they should be fine. Bottling units don't care much about the machines already on locations. Neither the seller nor buyer own those machines. They are still property of the bottlers.
  13. I have the same question. How do we do meter readings on Vendo 721 , Bevmax4 and national 167,
  14. What is fair value for a location. We have a location with 7 machines it does between $5.5K to 6k per month. Two BevMax 4s,, 3 167s, 2 Vendo 721s. All are with credit card readers. We had it for 4 years and it is under contract for another 3 years.
  15. I did check the wiring .One side is plugged in to common and other side to normally closed. I tried swapping door switch but it did not help. I called Vendo support, they are saying door harness also might be an issue. Is it easy to replace door harness.
  16. Hello All, Thanks in advance for all your help. I have a Vendo 721 live display. Sold out Columns are staying red even though Columns were stocked up. It won't allow me to get into Service mode either. It had same issue last year, we changed the door switch but it started to give the same problem again. I tried new door switch but it did not help. I checked the connections, they look okay.
  17. harry, What do you mean no chargebacks, can you please explain.
  18. No the notice acts as a detriment and hurts the your business more than helping. Nobody is giving us notice when they are increasing the prices for inventory or machines. Anyone in right mind would understand prices go up every year.
  19. I don't think you need to put a label or notice one week before increasing prices. You just increase your prices and if anyone asks you can always explain. We increase the prices January 1st week every year. Coke increases prices every year for us why should we not do the same to our customers. We now have locations with only 5 years contracts where we have put in clause "we reserve to increase the price every year". You are doing business not charity.
  20. Your point of 6-12 months net cannot work. As net profit varies from operator to operator.
  21. How do you calculate net . Does it not depend on the way company is operating. Bigger companies have so called bigger operating cost s compared to a small company with one or two employees.
