  1. Wanted to add that the thinness of the aluminum cans has become a real problem. Drop them a few inches and they can explode taking out pickers, chains, motors aside from making a horrendous mess. We rarely had this problem 15 years ago. Does anyone have any ideas how to combat this problem other than to vend all bottles?
  2. Swapped the X and Y motors and the problem followed to the Y axis. Starting on shelf C the ejector barely missed the shelf. On shelf B it hit the shelf and on Shelf A it hit above the shelf. Put a new motor in and all is well. We took apart the bad motor and found that syrup from a broken can a month ago somehow worked its way into the round sensor which also caused the motor to develop play in the shaft. There should not be any play in the motor shaft. Just wanted to update in the event anyone has a similar problem.
  3. Just a follow up: Support says I need to change the X motor. There are no settings adjustments. So Im going to swap the X motor to the Y motor.
  4. Ill check on that. Wouldn't all selections be slightly off if that was the case?
  5. After replacing the picker cup harness that plugs into the XY board, the picker cup goes to the correct position on all selections except the last 3 selections on each tray, i.e A7-A9, B7-B9,C7-C9, D7-D9,E7-E9. The picker goes past the target by about a 1/16 of an inch. Just enough that if a fat bottle is in there it will hit the picker cup and possibly jam. I adjusted the X swipe from 93800 to 93000. Did not make any difference. Anyone know whats going on. I cant imagine that the install of the harness has anything to do with it. It was working perfectly before. I changed the harness because I got a picker home switch error, and actually saw that the chain was broken from set up syrup, and the grey wire was almost severed. I also changed the picker cup assembly.Im trying to get a hold of support but hard to do when Im there.
  6. Actually they do have a two tier fee that can be enabled. I do take advantage of it. I also pay a 2.9% fee to them from a deal they had a few years back. However lately they have added a .01 cent fee for every transaction and sneakily, I believe had all kinds of promos turned on by default. I was giving away hundreds a month and not realizing it. My fault also. Those promo charges are what prompted me to call support over and over and over again. I never did get a response but somehow figured out how to turn the promos off. It was several layers and screens that I had to go through to turn them off permanently. I like to reward my customers but with inflation the way it is now, and trying to keep prices down Im not feeling bad about it lol. I have CC readers from Crane that were packaged in some media machines but their monthly fees and 5.9% charge is actually ridiculous. Crane was overcharging me a monthly fee for months and it took me months for them to get it straightened out. But at least Crane support answered and followed up on the erroneous monthly charges. So lower fees from Payrange and about 35% usage overall but no support. Or much higher fees from Crane and Ok support. No good solution LOL
  7. You think their support is awful, try calling Payrange support. You will not get connected to anyone for weeks if you are lucky. I have left several messages (always goes to voicemail) and never get a call back. Support is totally worthless.
  8. If a new Picker assembly does not work, Check to see if the harness going to the picker from the board has a break in one of the wire strands. This happened to me and I had to replace the harness which is not fun. Typically the break in the harness occurs about a foot or two above the picker.
