  1. https://www.dsvendinginc.com/p-6827-d80180719061-dn-switch-bar.aspx
  2. Check out D and S vending. Also vendors exchange. I’ve bought that same bracket before from D&S.
  3. Any route in a metro area under 6 figures and not over priced probably will never hit the market. It would be so easy to sale off to another operator. All you typically will see is the individual who had no business getting into vending trying to sale off their oddball location that they’re soon to lose. As far as locators, if you can’t get locations yourself then this is the wrong business to be in. I say that for several reasons. First one being is their cost as well as their results. You’ll 500 or 1000 bucks to get a drink machine in a tire shop next to a convenience store? You’ll pay locator fees and a month later, 6 months later, 2 years— you name it, and location tells you to come pick up your equipment. It would be better to offer potential customers the money as opposed to a locator.
  4. Is the acceptor gate open some perhaps? You can tell this by inserting a coin and seeing if machine gives a credit. What about when you put a different coin mech?
  5. All these machines are is rebranded selectivend equipment. https://www.selectivend.com Personally I don’t use that brand.
  6. If your machine is MDB then you can exchange the acceptor to accept larger notes. I see on its label that it is 24 volts so that should be an MDB machine. As far as replacements I would get an MEI 2702. It can be set to accept up to $20.00 bills. You would also have to buy the MDB harness with it as well to connect the validator and coin mech. I’m assuming it’s a snack machine so you will have to get one with a mask that goes on a snack machine. https://www.dsvendinginc.com/p-6434-vn2702u5m-mei-1-20-mdb-bill-acceptor-wvfm-bezel-500-stacker-rebuilt-w180-day-warranty.aspx You could also purchase a Coinco brand validator and you wouldn’t have to worry about the harness but I myself only use the MEI brand validators and acceptors. Let us know what brand and model of machine you have first though.
  7. What the heck is a zoomgu vending machine?? I seriously doubt if anyone here has any experience with these so you should contact the company that you bought it from or maybe zoomgu directly. Doubt you’ll get any help but always remember just because it has a cheap price (I’m seeing em on Alibaba brand new cheaper than used machines that I buy..) you have to have a way to support machine with replacement parts and technical service.
  8. It’s a generic front.. If it used to be a coke or Pepsi that got changed to a generic front then look for signs of coke or Pepsi somewhere on the inner door or Vendo’s plate with the serial number on the side.
  9. Dump and fill all coins via tube fill setting.
  10. Nope. It’s Chinese…. You would be a fool to buy one without some company being able to sale and support their replacement parts.
  11. The reason you’ll want more machines is you’ll be buying products in cases and some of this stuff lasts a month or 2. Don’t know the layout of the school but you might could get 2 snack machines in there.
  12. Try these instead: https://www.jacklinks.com/shop/original-beef-strips Vistar has em. You can ship from Sams as well.
  13. Vending will not be a side hustle, I don’t know why people think that it can be. This is a concept of purchasing expensive equipment just to be able to make money by selling inventory you as well have to buy. The question you need to ask yourself is how can you succeed? This is an extremely saturated industry, meaning everyone is doing it and all businesses pretty much have vending equipment in there. The only thing left to you will be the 2 and 3 man shops next to convenience stores. I would never recommend a noob buy an existing business, route or location simply because you don’t know enough about the business. What if you get kicked out? What brand of machines are these? How are you going to fix the machines if there is an issue? The only way you will succeed is persistence. When you do a sales pitch to a business and they tell you they don’t need your equipment is that the last time you contact said business? If you say yes then be prepared to hear all no’s. At best you will create something of value just so you’ll sale it later to someone else. Do not be prepared to make any money for a long time. At best - no debt, work from home and no employees for 5 every dollars you make you could pay yourself a dollar. That’s 20 percent. Add vehicles, warehousing paying taxes, employees, etc. it’s more of you keeping 5 percent.
  14. Always trust your gut and having to ask if they are legit means stay away from em. It’s not our fault they are not yet established and can’t take full payments or offer financing etc.
  15. I’ve never installed that board. I would call Royal to make sure it will work with the model you have.
