Coinmec was reset to factory settings, now is reading "credit" to quaters and nickles (the denomination is is programmed to hold) . If i put in a dollar coin or dollar bill ot will give exact change but if I put in a quarter it will shoot straight back out and give no credit.

I recently acquired a Dixie Narco 501T soda vendor with a S2 control unit and Coinco BA30SA bill collector. It works great other than this issue. . I have the price set to $1.50. When inserting bills it will only take the first one, then stops collecting and requires coins for the balance. I tried to change the escrow (“ESC”) program from “p-r” to “E-S4” and “E-S4”. The “E” settings seemed to fix the issue, but only for 1 vend. Then it goes back to accepting only the 1st bill, even though the program is displaying the updated escrow setting. . Could it be that it isn’t holding the memory. . Or that there is another bill collector setting that I am missing. The machine functions totally normal otherwise. I am new to these older vending machines, so no answer is too basic. Thanks! -
Hello have a customer with a FSI 3076. Their old bill validator is a old Coinco BA32F 27 volt. It is no longer taking bills but it is taking coins. Client would like to upgrade to a system that accepts credit card. Looking for advice on what components will work and where to get them. Thanks for the help!

Replaced changer recently with a refurb Guardian 6000XL and started having "communications" errors that would disable the changer, bill validator and card reader. Sensit reads exact change only, but will not take any but the first dollar, no change. Then when it goes down completely no form of payment allowed. We found that the changer tubes were showing "$0.00" when the changer was full. This explained the "exact change" condition. Replaced the MDB harness as indicated by troubleshooting guide for Sensit III. Checked all connections, unit is clean, no coin jams, no issues with reader or validator or changer when we leave. Full changer, showing accurate amount. All good... But then after several vends, communication problem persists. So obviously not MDB harness. Or maybe just bad changer, or bad MDB. Any ideas on solving this mystery? Just put in a new changer? 😕
