I have an old AP4600 Snackshop that I picked up for $50. My first vending machine and I figured I would put it in at work and put stuff in at cost. I know its a dinosaur and bill acceptors were not factory on this machine. It was fitted with a VN2501 110v that I assume worked at one point, but does not now. The guy I got it from found it in his warehouse he bought and just wanted it gone, knew nothing about it. Bill acceptor has power, correctly accepts, validates, and stores the $1 dollar bills, but I think either doesn't send the pulse to credit the machine or the machine is not receiving it. The coin mech works completely, correctly accepts quarters, nickels, and dime and correctly credits the machine, coin return and change dispenser works correctly. The vend selection works, and all but 3 of the spirals work. The VN2501 is hooked up to a "logic mech to validator adapter" which I can't seem to find info online about. Could that be the issue? Again I know its a dinosaur but would be nice to have. Pictures attached. I am unsure if this machine requires a short pulse, long pulse, or credit. I did try all 3 settings and messed around with the DIP switches with no luck, but I do believe them to be set correctly, again except maybe the pulse. I did make sure to fill up the change tubes. Thank you for any help

Hello everyone, I have bought a snack machine. I'm from Germany, so please excuse my not very good English. The vending machine is the LCM1 from AP. Unfortunately, it is no longer fully functional. One of my first problems is that I can't set the prices. I get to the service menu and can select all the other options there, but if I want to go to the price setting via button 4, nothing happens. Does anyone know of this or a similar problem and can help me? Thank you very much! Paul

First of all just want to acknowledge how great this site is. Has helped me on my journey of vending with my first questions regarding vending machines at age 17 up until now at 24. Would love to see this as an app somehow. Really think it would help the future generations of vending and make it easier to navigate with mobile devices. I come to ask a few questions though. I’ve grown a small vending route alongside different jobs that I’ve worked the past few years but now I’m having trouble keeping up with everything smoothly while I still keep up working with my other business. So nonetheless I need to clean things up in order to help my route run smoother with less stress. Question 1: Labeling keys? I’m getting confused with all these keys. I have 4 locations with snack and soda machines in both and I’m working on a 5th location. How can I label the keys/ tell them apart?? Question 2: Hand truck? What should I use to bring snacks and drinks inside and out? I usually just carry things in and out but I feel like it makes the route run longer and me more tired. I need something to make this part simpler. Question 3: Inventory tracking?? How can I keep track of vends with locations that don’t have cc readers?? I’m never sure what products are moving and how fast, so I usually just bring everything. Is there a device or software that can help me know how much of what to bring and how often? Question 4: Route runner? Ideally I want this route to be sufficient enough to have someone stock the machines for me and I be able to just service/ maintenance them when need be. How does that work? Has anyone hired someone? Did you trust them to deliver all cash or did you pickup cash separately? Please feel free to answer all of the questions or only specific parts if you’d like. I appreciate all of you guys responses and help. This community never lets be down. And hopefully this will help someone else that comes along.

Hi All, Hoping someone might be able to help, I have a Snackshop 113 that was working fine. However last week it stopped vending any products at all. When you try and check price it just beeps like the motor hasn't responded, and when you credit coins and make a selection it says to check selection price, as if there isn't enough credit (but there is of course). I can free/test vend all products in service mode, motors work just fine, prices can be set just fine. I have noticed that there's some odd changes like the language setting changed and there's some other settings have odd stray characters, so I've corrected all I can see, such as the time, which was 09:74 !? I can't get into menus 300, 500 or 600 though, the sales data menus I think, where I could before. Wondering if the memory or eeprom has corrupted, if so can there be reset? Thanks guys.
