Are all vending machine keys the same size?

Hey everyone! I am the owner of three machines and I plan to buy and place many more. I like having duplicates of keys for machines in case I ever lose one, and I have been looking into buying a tubular key maker so I can just make them myself. I found the listing on AliExpress (I have bought from this site before and I know what I am getting myself into) and its around $40 before shipping. I am not sure if all vending machines take the same key size, from my research there is 4 different sizes of tubular keys. Does anyone know if there is one standard size or if machine locks come in a variety of sizes. Thank you to all who are taking your time to help!

Let me start with, I am a newb. I bought this machine maybe a week ago for pretty cheap, and considering the price, no matter what I need to replace, it's virtually worth it. So as per the title, the compressor works and is on, but there is no power to the front of the machine, lights, display, nothing. Frankly, I could just be wrong on what I'm assuming is the power switch, so if you guys could lend me a quick hand and give me any semblance of where it's supposed to be that would be great because the manuals online are not friendly to the various different styles there are apparently. If the switch is the toggle switch below the can/bottle slide, it doesn't work. If this is the case, would it be as simple as replacing the switch? You guys are the real OG's and no matter what you got, it's appreciated -
Myself and a coworker have been searching for a vending machine. We found one over seas brand new built to our specs. However, when inquiring about coins, they say it can except nickels, dimes, quarters and dollar coins...HOWEVER when it comes to dispensing change, only one coin value is possible. This seems super strange as neither of us have ever used a vending machine where this is the case. Feedback please:)

hi my 276e’s evaporator and accumulator are both covered in frost and when i turn the thermostat knob i can hear the entire cooling unit turning on and engaging but drinks will not get cold. been trying to figure this out for the last couple of days on youtube but can’t find what i’m looking for.

Hey all, we’re a firehouse in NYC we recently picked up a Dixie narco 5591 machine trying to get it up and running as a way to raise funds. The issue we’re having is the display shows a row of asterisks followed by a row of zero’s. Any help trying to identify what message means is greatly appreciated. thank you.

Hello! I am a new member but thought this would be the best place to ask my question. I recently picked up a Vendo Pepsi machine and apparently it is a Keyless entry. How does one actually get into a Keyless entry vending machine?? I got it off an auction so they couldn't answer my questions. See machine specs below. Looking to pick up some vending machines to expand my small business ventures, in total there's 5 vending machines, all of them have debit and credit card readers, and I'm paying 1200$/machine. What do I need to know before buying? Do I need to write up a contract? Do I need a special licence? (I'm in Alberta) Am I at risk of a lawsuit if a machine falls on someone? Hello guys recently i bought a Ap studio 1 snack machine. When i got the machine everything checked out good. But now im having a few problems. With the coin mechanism full and working it said “use exact change” with putting in a dollar and trying to buy a 75 cent selection it shot the money out. But then i put the dollar back in and selected the 75 cent selection again and then it worked and even gave me change back. Another problem i ran into is that the bill acceptor is only accepting 1 dollar. I putt all the selections to 2 dollars to test it and it still only accepted one dollar then the green light turned off and it would not accept anymore money. I tried for the coin mech to flush everything out and buy products with a empty coin mech but it didnt work. So if anyone can help that will be greatly appreciated. Seems like the vending repair people around me dont know what to do. -
I purchased a Dixie Narco 276, from what I was told. Didn't do much research because I got it for nearly nothing. I’m looking for someone to service it in my area since I don’t have a lot of knowledge! When plugged in, everything turns on, lights flash on bill box, doesn’t accept bills, but no diagnostic light. I have been searching all day, unsuccessfully for a manual. Send help! We’re located in south east Wisconsin, so any help is appreciated!

I saw this machine posted locally for $125 i can't figure out the model or really information about it. I assume it is from the 60s. Is it worth restoring or even buying. Please share your knowledge in the comments. Thanks in advance for the help, Andrew

Hello, I have a vendo 511 and one of the columns sells Monster and it takes 2 cans. Due to slow sales, I want to change that to regular pop and that column can take 3 cans. When I removed all the Monster and put the regular cans and increased the length of the column, the machine will spit out 2 cans on the first purchase then 1 can after. But I need it to spit out 1 can at a time. So how can I reset it so that it recognizes I have 3 cans and needs to spit out 1 at a time? -
Hey guys, I recently bought a Vendo 511 beverage machine. Being that I use 16.9 oz bottles of soda in a lot of my AMS machines, I always have this size on hand. Can anyone point me in the right direction as far as shims or spacers that I would need to vend 16.9 oz bottles properly? I'm fairly new to these machines specifically so I'm not sure which parts I would need, thank you.

Hey guys, I've been talking to Betson a little bit about the new AMS Steeley soda/ beverage machine. It's fairly new so I can't find a whole lot of information on it, as far as reliability goes. Anyone have any experience with one of these? I have several AMS snacks and combos on the road currently and I'm pretty happy with them. The Steely looks pretty nice cosmetically. Was hoping I could vend 16.9 oz bottles out of it.

I am surprised to see so many use spreadsheets to run their business, I don't work for them, I just got a problem with them! I have the full version of the software, and believe me, its great, I don't have to guess, or figure out what goes where or worry about lost locations, I put it in once, set it and forget it, until next time. when its ready, itll show up red, and then I can go service the location. but my issue is a simple one, a few years ago I had a full version, but it was the older version, so I figured id buy the new one since it was half price if you already had the program. now back then, I was able to activate the software on any pc, so if I had 2 pc's I can activate them both, one is a steady, and one for backup. a few years ago I contacted them, letting them know that I am upgrading my pc, and that I would like to activate the software on the new pc, after 2 years, I finally get a response that I have to pay for it again, I asked why? they said it was all newly updated, you can get the demo to see it, so I did, no harm, but then I started checking the versions of the program, and it winds up that there was no update, in fact my current software was beyond what they were trying to make me pay for $150 for, now I don't mind paying for newer stuff, but why would I pay for something that's older than what I have? apparently their versions that they so called "updated" are "outdated"! now I also understand they cannot do everything for free, but I made it clear, I'm not paying for stuff older than what I already have! so I asked them to activate my new PC so I can have the full version instead of the demo, and till this day no response! $150 for old stuff, and I thought my software was outdated, its like Microsoft trying to sell you windows 97 in 2018, only $100! ha ha ha, I want to make sure everyone knows about crooks in the vending business, they are all over, the worse thing is, they were very helpful back in the day, why not now, everyone struggles, and that's understandable, but don't give me BS! http://www.softessentials.com/ record your stuff with them! still to this day no response! the most recent one is from 8/17! we have time people, hopefully they will read this and make some real changes!

Some person in my area posted a few Heartland Payment System Campus Solution card readers on craigslist. If anyone knows anything about them please let me know. I know they are not quality but would they work with a vending machine? Thank you in advance

hey guys, how do you guys draft up a contract for your machine locations? does anyone have a sample model I can look at? In a world where you have to CYOA (cover your own golpher), I'd like to have my location host sign something so there won't be any discrepancies later. Also... what's the average commission you guys are giving (if any)? thanks!

Hi, first post here, I'm trying to see if there is anyone that provides direct competition to Canteen on a national level? Is there anyone here that contributes to a National Vending Management Company that competes against them to help the independent vendors? I read some of the forums and gather that there are regional management companies but is there any groups nationally? -
Hello To everyone, I am Fabrice the Export Manager for a compagny called Composants Diffusion, w are specialized for 10 years in supplying spare parts for vending machine, but we've been existing since 1995 as we started by working on the coffee machine spare parts. We are the leader on the French Market. Introducing myself i am fairly new on this market as i use to work in the glass industry. I live in California and have decided to start a vending machine business. I have done a lot of research already but could use some tips if possible. I know that I need a license to have a vending machine in California. Also how much do you need to pay to allow your vending machine to stay at a place? Is it a percentage of your monthly sales where your vending machine is located or a certain amount? Do I just contact owners and ask if I can leave my vending machine there and then offer him a business deal? I am new to the business and would appreciate anything you have to say.
