Lighthouse59
I am looking for ideas for printing my own labels for various candies I vend. I am open to any suggestions / ideas. Lighthouse59
Sunrise
I would say you are better off not using labels if they are recognizable brands.

Grazing Hippo Vending
I think that NOT using labels is just poor business. No labels make your machines look cheap and low class. I suggest either buying labels or cutting out a portion of the bulk candy bag and using that.
Sunrise
I also used to think not using labels looked unprofessional. I also used to cut out labels from the bag and that also looks unprofessional. But over the years, on a Vendstar, the labels wear out and fade. And if you need to change out the product and change the label, it is very difficult to remove the label without scratching the canister. Buying the labels is very expensive. I suppose if I was able to print out labels cheaply, I would do that. But I have found no difference in sales using no labels since all the brands I use are recognizable. rodney69
It's not about the money difference in my opinion, it's about what the machine, looks like. Every corner cut gives the test of the vendors a chance to take the location or from under you. if I was an owner and someone brought a machine in without labels, they would be carrying it back out with them. In my pinion, of a label isn't worth buying, making, or something, then I would never make it in vending. Every thread on here that goes over this has covered that. I personally don't use nutrition labels, but there is a label on everything. A person's equipment says a lot about who the person is. just my two cents worth
Makes Cents
The thread below has some labels. I copy / paste in paint program & print and then laminate them at staples. It costs me a dollar to laminate a 8.5"x11" sheet. I can fit about 10 labels (2"x3.75") so less than .10 cents ea. I think it just looks professional to use labels. http://vendiscuss.net/index.php?/topic/683-bulk-candy-labels/
RikaKazak
I have competitors that don't use labels (while I always do) and I think my machines look WAY nicer. I just cut the labels out from the bags I use. I even have a special bag that stores old candy wrappers to hold extra labels just in case I need replacement labels for some reason. caserri
I also used to cut out labels from the bag and that also looks unprofessional. Here is a pic of one of my old machines with the label cut from the bag. I wouldn't say it looks unprofessional.

FrCorey
Get a cheap printing program like printshop. and a inkjet photo quality printer. search the internet for the logos you want. print, cutout and tape in your machines. thats what I will be doing. except most all flat and toys has display for them. and some suppliers said they can also send me the images for them so I can print them as I need them. caserri
I laminated the bag cutout with those sheets you can get at Staples, then just used a bit of double sided tape. It is mounted on the inside.
ffd95
If you are selling just born candies, you can ask them to send you labels. Takes a couple of weeks, but they work fine.
