Yeeee-haaw! So excited to get started!

Hi Ya'll! I am a super newbie here. I've been spending the last few hours reading some of the newbie stickies and am really excited to be able to take in all this info. I have been itchin' to get into bulk vending for several years, actually.  I've read and researched a fair amount on and off over the last few years. I was always too busy and too broke - yes even for a single used machine - but now the time has come.

I just set up a deal to purchase a used Northwestern w/ stand for less than $50. This week I'll scout some prospective locations and decide on and order product for my machine -- though my username might suggest otherwise, I'm actually hoping to go the toy route. Once I have some product I'm gonna go pound the pavement and until I find a location for my first machine!

I'm doing this on the side, so I'm going to put $100 into it to start, then after that I'm only going to use the money I make from my machine to grow and maintain the biz. Obviously it's going to be slow going, but that's the angle I'm taking. My goal is eventually to build a (very) small route that pulls in $200 a month. I'm really into building mulitple small streams of income, in addition to my full-time job -- it makes a lot of sense for my lifestyle. My dream for my eventual route would be to have 5 good locations with racks with 4 heads. If I could be pulling in $10 bucks a head with that set-up, I'd be really pleased with myself.

Has anyone else started with a single machine and built their way up just by re-investing profits?

Hi to all. Can't wait to talk with you all and learn from you.

You had me at "multiple streams of income." That's exactly what I've been working on over the last few years, and I think it's one of the smartest things anyone can do. I also think vending, in its many different forms and varieties, can be a perfect component of that overall plan.

Welcome, good luck with locating your first machine--that's the fun part!

Looking forward to reading about your progress with everything.

Congratulations! I'm excited for you; I would like to hear from you again to see how is the new venture going. Rome was not build in one day. I'm looking into acquiring a couple of those myself, so it is refrechiing to read your posting. Thanks and the best of luck send your way!!

You are on the right track! So a case of gumballs is about 20-28 depending on where you get them. That case will make 212.50. If you don't use money for gas, you could buy 2 more singles with stands and increase you income each time. I wouldn't do toy to start. In my experience, the toy will change with fads and is too area specific.

I would just do gumballs in single heads. Easy to locate, one product that can last 6 mo. to a year. reinvest all income and then it will snowball quickly into your goal.

I warn you though! If you like it, you won't stop there! Look up Musser's posts by finding his name, then his profile and click on users posts. He to this day still runs singles and puts them out when he can and is full time.
