Rick
I hear what you guys are saying and I 100% agree with you, toys/tats and interactive are where the gravy margins are; but I'm still in the "transition" between candy and bulk and my best candy location puts $20 a day in my pocket. That's no exaggeration. I have several candy spots that do $50-$70 a month and take 15 minutes to service. If that means I need to "wise up" and stop vending candy - I'm okay with being stupid! Also, I got my start in bulk with $20 candy machines. If I had to wait for $500-$700 for a rack and initial purchase of 5-6 products, I may not have started at all. Sometimes I think enough of us start chanting these group-think mantras like they are the holy gospel (again, mostly they're true) when there's shades of gray in the real world.
