AngryChris
Since many of us have had issues with accepting new bills lately, I have some questions. First, do the 2700 series already accept new american currency? Can all 2700's be upgraded to accept 5's 10's, and 20's? Is this true with the 2600 series or the coinco vantage series? I guess the big question is.. is it better to get a 2700 instead of a 2600 or 2500?
ANDERSONVENDING
I have a 2700 and it accepts 1,2,5,10,and 20's. It was built after 2008 so it accepts all the new bills, my 2500's have to be updated for the new bills. John
AngryChris
It seems as though all 2700's take 1, 5, 10, & 20 dollar bills.
AZVendor
The Mars 2700 has only been in production since the last new bill software upgrade became available so the 2700's are all new currency-ready. I believe the 2600 series is the amusement version so you wouldn't want it. The Coinco Vantage validators are also new enough that they will also be new currency-ready. Both the 2700 and Vantage can be equipped with bill recyclers as well.
AngryChris
Thanks for the information. I have several machines with coinco BA's with MDB harnesses that I might upgrade. I have considered going to a 2700 or a vantage as the machines accept MDB. It isn't really necessary but I gave a thing about upgrading my best accounts for their convenience.
