If you could only have one machine...

I had a pretty good pizza place ask me to remove all but one machine. I had an 8 way rack, a double stand with balloon pump, and a shooting hoops machine. They told me the shooting hoops machine could stay. I asked if they would be okay with me upgrading the shooting hoops machine to something better in the future and they said that would be fine as long as it doesn't take up much more room than the current shooting hoops machine. I have access to electrical outlets at this location. So, if you were restricted to a footprint of about 18" square or so, what would you ideally put into a pizza parlor if it was the only machine you could have there?

I know that everyone hates uturn's on here, but if it's busy enough, I would use as 8 select with toys on top and candy on the bottom. TV's on top too.

The problem would be you need .50 mechs. And I don't no how well the ones they're selling are working

Small crane or 4 way rack

Crane?  18 inches?

With all of that equipment, what was the location doing shepherds?  ...and were you paying commission?

It was doing $130-$150 per month. Not a great earner, but consistent. It was a good place to put a lot of machines rather than having them in my basement (where they are now). I like the idea of a crane. I think it would earn about the same as the old rack did and greatly simplify the service time spent there.

Yeah to me it sounds that they didn't want their place looking overran with machines anymore.  Unless they have plans for the extra space, they probably just want to downsize to a single unit and usually a crane excites people.  I would definitely bring it up because at a busy pizza place it'd make good money.

They want the extra space for a catering display they intend to set up in the space where my machines used to sit. I might try to do a crane, though I like Makes Cents's suggestion of the Impulse pinball machine. Another of their stores has their own machine like that (where I also have a rack) and that pinball machine sells a crazy amount of bouncy balls every month.

I would put an impulse mini pinball machine in. The smaller sized one. Use a .50 cent mech, fill it with a case of bouncy balls with soccer. Then you can add wings and put 1" toys.

We have a winner.

The one that works best for me in small spots is a four column sticker machine with two one inch on the bottom. As a matter of fact I'm servicing a pizza joint today with the same issues you are having. This is my go to setup for really any place that doesn't have much room.

I think a 4 column might be a little too wide. Maybe a 3 column. But that doesn't sound like a bad idea. I have the same setup in a couple of other places and it does okay. So, I'm torn between the 4 way rack with 3 column flat and 2 1" heads, a pinball type machine, or a candy crane. They all sound like great options.

I had to custom cut a stand for a Mexican restaurant I got yesterday. Measured the 4 column sticker machine and it's 18 inches.
