agrantha
A bar/restaurant owner has forced me to vend pistachios, I told her pistachios will rust out my coin mech., center rod and sweeper, but she does not care. She wants pistachios. However, she is allowing me to install a 50 cent coin mech. I will swap out sweepers on each visit and spray all moving parts with Pam. However, I was wondering can i clean the coin mech with 409; rinse it off; dry it the best I can and spray moving parts with Pam. Moreover, should I sell pistachios in or out of the shell? What do you think? Anton

orsd
One time a member on here had the nuts rust the machine out so bad a part fell off and injured the customer Tell her thAt shell be liable if that ever happens
GagesVending
How about just using a plastic machine like a Vendstar for nuts? Instead of using a 50 cent mech, just set the portion control to a small amount.
rodney69
I ran pistachios in the shell for about 10 years on my uturn. It took about a year to 2 years to start discoloration. That was only on the spring stirer and the ace on the back of the mech. I would clean the parts you mentioned once a quart and sell in the shell for better perception.
