RikaKazak
I purchased 20 spiral gumball machines (big 5' tall ones) and ~15 single head gumball machines. I'm about half way through cleaning everything up (all were used) and will need to buy gum for them. I live in Post Falls Idaho (northern Idaho) and the nearest sam's club is ~6 hour drive. Just curious how you'd buy if you were me. I have no machines located, but will be working on it hard...my goal is to located at least 1 a week (will be locating myself + my wife + my cousin). All machines need 850 ct gum. Thanks in advance

RikaKazak
Shouldn't even need to ask that question. .they are just a reseller.Huh?I asked "where" and people responded with "what." I appreciate all input but I still don't know "where" to order the gum from. I'm assuming ford has a site but I can't find it. I did found one site but they say they only serve the Midwest. Still curious "where" to buy my gum. I just want the best prices and know a lot of vendors know the secret/great deal sites. Like using quill for runts. Wonder Vend
fordgum.com, and sweetworks.com for oak leaf I tried sweetworks.com and it wasn't a legitimate site and looked very sketchy but sweetworks.net works and looks like a good one. I will be doing some comparison shipping for product soon enough so will let you guys know what I find out. Thanks for the tips, Rodney!

Going to be ordering my first set of machines soon (likely from A&A, they have been very quick to respond to emails) and I am thinking about doing a mix of gum and candy to start with then maybe move into toys also if all goes well. Well, what was your best deal? If you wanted to attempt to sell gumballs for 50 cents, which brand would you consider a "Gourmet Gumball"? rodney69
It would have to be nerds, or maybe 700 count nerds. Seedlings might, but aren't as well known I don't think

Bart I am by no means an expert and barely a novice but I am thinking about just going with a basic 850ct bubble king or Nerds gum balls. I have heard that the Nerds sell much faster even with a lower net profit so that coiuld make them worth it. Honestly though, I am sure I will have a lot of trial and error situations when I get my machines and start locating so hopefully whatever I go with works out! lol
RikaKazak
So the cheapest place I found was Dubble Bubble through Sam's Club for $21.98 per case (850 ct). Then you have to add 10% if you're a non member (which I'm not) and add $10.98 for tax on 8 cases, and add $60 for shipping of 8 cases (to Idaho) so my total for 8 cases was almost 4.3 cents per gumball. Did anyone else find a cheaper place? 4.3 sounds ok I guess, but always heard people saying 2-3 cents per gumball but once you add in shipping and tax and all of that, I can't find a place that'll get it cheaper. gumballs.com = $29.99 per case + shipping Sweet works was $32 per case + shipping Ford never got a call back OhNuts = $42 but free shipping no tax Anyone find cheaper then Sam's? rodney69
Ford was that high to? Do you have a mega foods or someone that sells bulk? If you do, ask them if they can order 1" gb's. They will only charge you 10% above cost. I buy mine from mega foods for 26. I thought sweetworks was cheaper than that! AA should be, talk to Chris miller. He's always on here as a rep

I'm not sure how much shipping would be, but I just remembered my supplier in portland, OR. If your in Idaho, shipping shouldn't be that much. The cases are 28, but I think with the shipping savings and so on it might work for you. They only carry a few selections on gum though. Call Vistar at:509-289-6767. I order from them and the shipping is pretty cheap. It's less to have it shipped than it is to drive and get it for almost 80lbs last time.
