RikaKazak
So I've built my route up to doing about $1,000ish a month in quarters and so far I roll them all by hand (and it's getting very tiring). Curious what you guys do. Thanks in advance
bayouvending
Find a bank or credit union that will take loose coin or has a sorter in the lobby for members. Rolling coins suck. They also sell sorters that sort and put coins into wrappers.

F J Vending
One of your local banks should take loose coins.
rodney69
I did the same. I went to all the banks and found the ones that had counters. Then asked each one what they would do to have my business! I settled on wellsfargo. I can go in anytime and let them do it!

moondog
Your best bet is to get a good used coin counter - that way you can track sales by machine which is impossible if you're tossing all your coins into one bag and letting the bank handle it. DO NOT buy a cheap plastic one from Staples or Office Depot - get a good one that will also sort if you're branching into full line. Expect to pay a couple hundred dollars. I'm looking into that myself.

moondog
How much? Does it sort coins too? (slowly trying to get into soda) That's a top of the line pro counter - I'd love to have one but they're mucho expensive. Cummins is the brand most banks use. I use a Scan Coin which is much smaller and doesn't roll the coins for you but will pause after a set number (usually 40) so you can put them in a roll. How about a coin scale? I'm looking into that myself. Coin scales are great for the bulk guys as you're only dealing with quarters, but in full line we need the sorter as we do get some dimes and nickels in the mix.
