redmms250713
I have an lai lighthouse, i replaced all bulbs with those fancy swirly low power lights. They were in it about 2 weeks, than ALL of them were dead! I tried a regular one in its socket and it worked fine! Could this be from the constant on off of the machine? Would LED work and not burn out? I want to be energy efficient for my client.

Billnuts
No led 120 volt have a transformer inside to reduce the voltage so it would burn out like the CFL just use halogens or regular bulbs Energy efficient is not a option on that you can go GREEN all you want they will still golpher about how much a machine costs them... bill

AZVendor
There are LED replacements for that size of florescent tube. Your lamp should be 18" if it's an F15T8. The LED replacement will probably require a 24V transformer to be wired in to power the lamp.
