rmorris1953
I love those... Good thing about them is when they go out of date take them home and stick them in the freezer. You can leave them there and 6 mo later they are still good. I think I might have one in there.
moondog
I can sell this out in week and a half... Everybody talks about variety - but hey, give them what they want. I've done this in a couple of machines to a slightly lesser extent.
Randy 805
I just kept on selling out row after row of them...
mission vending
That is a little unusual but not unheard of, I had accounts like that. Just wondering have you put in other pastries to see how they sell? I once had a couple of locations that were halfway houses for excons and my best seller was honeybuns because that was the only pastry type item they got when they were locked up. Paveitall
Big Texas sell great and very profitable, I was just setting up my click & pull at SAM's today and noticed they don't have them stocked anymore. I hope its just a short term deal, I sell around 10 boxes/Week. What price do you have your set at, im at $1.
Golfdogs
I've got an account I do the same thing at. I've tried every other pastry and NONE of them sell. One day I caved and filled the whole bottom shelf with Big Texas. Put four cases in at each service...

Funny how people get stuck on something. The people of Hawaii eat more Spam than the rest of the country combined - it's a hold over from WWII when that was the only meat product available. There's a whole series of Spam recipes.

AZVendor
Those are Big Texas cinnamon rolls, the single most popular frozen pastry ever made.
caserri
Ohh, cinnamon rolls. Thanks AZ. I love cinnamon rolls but don't think I've seen that brand. Angel's is the popular brand around here.
Randy 805
Big Texas used to make a giant Chocolate Chip cookie that would sell almost as well, for the life of me I can't figure out why they discontinue d them
TKK
I love them however my pastry sells like this 1) chocolate cup cakes (sell 30 to 40 boxes a month) 2) honey buns (sell 25 to 40 boxes a month) 3) big tx sell (sell 20 to 30 boxes q month) Then zingerx swll slow and i took off crunch donuts as they get mold that looks like spider webbs
QualitySelectionsJ
I can sell this out in week and a half... I double up on some items. I get the Variety pack at Sam's and find the Cheese Danish and Honey Bun do just as well. People don't seem to like the white, iced Honey Bun. I have yet to try it. Growliebusters
So, just curious, are pastries that big a seller? I've been holding off cause I don't ever see them in machines here. I suppose trying them out might not be a bad idea, what prices are you buying and selling at?

I suppose trying them out might not be a bad idea, what prices are you buying and selling at? Soda in Summer and pastries in winter. Pastries sell very good when weather is bad and no one wants to go out in the weather. I would think pastries would sell very good in Canada? I'm still selling them at a dollar but prices are creeping up and I'll be at a buck and a quarter soon.

I do see pastries on convenience store shelves but they are usually covered with a 1/4" of dust!Dunkin's has the pastry market cornered here. I haven't seen any at all, and believe me, I look at every single vending machine I come across. Just ask my wife(LOL). I just bought an existing route, so I have plenty of leeway to play with the mix right now. And I guess if I put out 40 bucks and it doesn't work, I'm only out 40 bucks. But if it works........ money money money.
Georgia bulldog
Down here in Georgia Big Texas ,Cheese Danish, pecan pies, and really any kind of pies apple, peach, pumpkin and any brand of honey bun sells good. I can buy the 3 oz. honey buns from Sam's and can sell them all day long for a $1 but cookies like Famous Amos and M and M are my slowest pastry. Pop Tarts and microwave popcorn sell good at my White Collar accounts.

I double up at least on the honey buns and cinnamon rolls. There's a few manufacturing places where I have five coils of honey buns and three of the Big Texas. Mmmm! tedk
Growlie: Give them a try. They will sell well at $1.50, but since it is a new item start at $!.75. It will save you having to raise the price so soon. You should also try the Duchess honey buns.
