shepherdsflock
Just wondering if anyone has noticed better sales when they jam their machines all the way full. My wife and I had our fourth child last month and in anticipation of having less time for vending, I crammed my machines full as much as possible so I wouldn't have to worry about restocking; I could just collect money on my monthly service since very few of my locations ever empty an entire head in a month. When I went to service my machines the following month I was surprised to see my sales increase by about 50% at almost all locations. Was this just a really good month or did I just catch on to something? I usually fill a head and let it sell until it empties then refill. Have you found that keeping machines all the way full increases sales?
Rick
Yep! Not 50% by any means, I've never experienced a jump like that - but I do notice better sales when I completely fill my machines. The busier the location the bigger the difference obviously.
musser
Machines with candy are always a challenge due to spoilage. That said, in making retail displays the saying was "pile it high and watch it fly"
jerrybrooks vending
Dealing with mostly candy...I would love to pile it high..but it seems that due to the weather I get a lot of spoilage fast. Sent from my Ally using Tapatalk
shepherdsflock
Nearly all of my locations are toy and flat, very few candy locations. But it seems to apply just as well to toys. I'm going to have to try keeping my machines fuller from now on.

shepherdsflock
Full looks fresh imo I didn't think that "fresh" would matter with toys, but apparently it does!
KHudson
Yes, full machines = better sales. People equate full machines to fresh candy
shepherdsflock
Yes, full machines = better sales. People equate full machines to fresh candy But does the same hold true for toys? I only have two locations that sell candy, all my other locations are toys, flat items, and gumballs.
cointech
full machines are much more attractive with all the toys and colored caps even with toys full looks fresh when machines are half full or less it looks old and not taken care of as well also you can see every scratch and smudge on the plexi when they are low
cashman
I find that if my machines run completely empty they don't make any money. Not sure why ? Just funning you.
