BlindVending
Todays stops saw 3 uturns attacked by black permanent markers. Drawing smiley faces on the yellow body of the uturns etc. Is there anything I can use to remove this rather than repainting?

FrCorey
right, pour that on Chinese plastic.
karwood
You don't have to "pour it on". I use it all the time to remove Sharpie from the outside of glossy boxes and if it doesn't harm a cardboard box, I wouldn't think it's going to do a lot of damage to hard plastic, whether it's Chinese or not. I just put some on a cotton ball or Q-tip and rub lightly. I'd test it out on a small area first. But YMMV.
rodney69
You can try a dry erase marker over the top, then wipe. I've also used permanent marker the same way. Just have to be quick! On the other hand, I've left machines that had stickers and stuff on them if it doesn't look bad. Lol
Action Vending
Lighter fluid is usually safe on many plastics.

ffd95
I've used goof off. You can get it in the paint department of the big box hardware stores. It's close to lighter fluid.
Action Vending
That stuff is very harsh, it's like kerosene.

Square
I use citrus cleaner from an arcade supplier, it foams up and cleans everything off, including uturn price stickers

Chris James
I know WD40 will take spray paint off your cars paint without harming it. Might try that.
HotOiler3
+1 for WD-40, I definitely wouldn't put acetone (nail polish remover) on any kind of plastic parts, especially ones that have to be aesthetically appealing
