rodney69
Wish I had the money! LOL That's only 25 a machine! They have 6 pallets in New York for someone to pick up! It's on Ebay. They say its from Walmarts all over the US. Any ways, thought I would share in case someone wanted them.

havending
I'm sure it's the old folz machines. There are pallets and pallets of them floating around for sale. Only issue is your stuck at .50 no mech up grade.
BouncyBalls
Don't buy them for reasons stated . They have been trying to get rid of them for a few years.
havending
I just looked and I was right. Not a bad machine at all I had some I got when we bought out some dollar tree stores. We just never found a way to charge .75 vend. The machines hold almost a full case of caps.
rodney69
That explains it. I was just wondering why they were still available. That SEEMS to be a great price! Not so much when you hear the rest of it!
Nick505
Reasons stated. You are stuck at .50 unless you are going to vend for a hobby and don't care about a profit margin then by them up!
orsd
NEN still ahas some, yep, stuck at .50 at the local ralphs
Elite Vending
Could you convert them to 1in? That way they would still be usable for awhile.
Hillbilly
I've got 6 of these out working. They are pretty good machines. Most of my problems are from the coin door. People trying to pry the door off to get to the money. These are the machines I use to blow out my old product. Northwestern Classics. Cant find parts for them unless on Ebay. TWvend
They been trying to unload them a long time . Had 13 offers and when you look at the offers, they go back to Feb of 2011.
rodney69
So why can't they be adapted to current mech's?
Hillbilly
So why can't they be adapted to current mech's? It uses the same mech as a NW Super 60. Can only go up to .50.
rodney69
To bad I don't have one here. I would like to see the difference between the that and the new style. Is the plate that holds the mech removable like oaks are? Can't that just be swapped?
Nick505
If they could be upgraded you wouldn't find 128 NW 2" for $33 each..

Jax Snacks
Those machines are obsolete - period. They can not be upgraded. Time for the scrap metal yard. But just to create some debate.... IMHO, I think that two inch vending in general is no longer worth pursuing and it's best days are behind it. I sold off most of my two inch machines. Too much hassle and not enough profit. Products are too hit or miss, more expensive, more costly to ship, takes up a lot of space in the van and in storage, service time is too long when swapping, displays are expensive, kids seem more fickle with the two inch than the one inch, too much dead inventory, etc. Plus without a viable dollar coin, kids (or their parents) need to have at least 3 or 4 quarters in their pocket to get that two inch prize. IMHO, better to invest in one inch at 50 cents, flat tattoos at 50 cents, interactive machines and of course gumballs. I not saying that you can not make money with two inch, but you can make just at much money (or even better) with other setups - especially interactive machines IMHO. For me two inch has become more of a niche rather than a norm and it's use will be very limited going forward. R.I.P. two inch vending - I will not miss you at all. And Rodney, you seem to be intrigued with two inch vending. Just let it go! Move on and invest in other types of machines - IMHO and with all due respect of course. rodney69
I'm intrigued only because it's something that most of the competition has and most places like some of my restaurants have said they want out if I want the account.I like to dive into everything information wise and then decide. What do you use on your racks for store fronts and large restaurants that are tight on space? Jax, I always appreciate your input.
rodney69
I'm not so interested in the ones in this thread. That's more due to my fabrication experience. From what I've heard, all nw, oak and so on never change. So I'm confused at these that don't seem to be upgradeable. Were they special made? LandJGroup
Also the guy who is selling this equipment gizmo69... is a complete tool. I wouldn't trust that guy. I inquired on some other stuff he had years ago, and let's just say he is not a people person. Lol

rodney69
If I had more time I would buy one just to tinker with it and find a way to do it. But, I don't have a shop at this time! LOL

A mech can be tooled for it sure but NW is not about to invest in it. It could be a 3 or four coin back to back.
