i have a bar locations of mms and nuts in a tripple head so i will be going with 50 cent mechs since im now only making about $5 per whole bag of product sold...

my idea and what i would like input is, is a "advertisement" that states now 50 cents, or something to that sort, and also put something like more product vend as well, and have it on top of the machine folded longways in like a tee pee design with maybe an image or something. not sure how to design it any ideas?

image just to show how im going to fold it. it will be card stock paper so it will hold up for a few weeks while everyone gets used to the increase in money and NOT to scale...

Not sure about nuts but if Your only making $5 per bag of M&M's your vending way too much. I would consider lower how much you vend before going up to .50

Have you tried other items? I actually have 2 bars, one has Peanut MM skittles and does very well on both items. The other has Skittles and Runts. Each location does about $40 per month.

You are only making $5 per bag of product. That means you are already giving way too much product per vend.

Why would you advertise that you are now going to give "more product" per vend?  That's unwise even if you do raise the price to .50.

Even at that higher price-point your going to wind up STILL making only $5 per bag because you are raising vend quantity along with prices.

However, it's also going to be tough to successfully increase the price and NOT increase the quantity per vend because it's likely your customers are probably repeat users of your machine.

The majority of bars rely heavily on regular customers.

So it's probably the same people at your machine every day/week.

Increasing prices AND quantity is not going to change your profit margin any.

And increasing prices without changing quantity may kill sales.

Something to consider....maybe keep the pricing at .25 and give slightly less quantity to what you give now but with a LOWER COSTING product like Runts, Skittles, or Boston Baked Beans.

They may not notice the drop in quantity since it will be a different candy altogether.

You've chosen to vend some of the highest costing product and gave too much per vend on top of that.

You are in a real catch 22.....hard to say what the best route to take might be.
