Yes I'm a newbie but I've been sourcing NW 60s all week & as soon as I saw the pic I was like "hey I know what that is" lol.

Derp Sam's can get a rack to you in a few days and cheaper than NW itself. If you need to upgrade anything, just call NW right after you order online at Sam's. Last time I called NW it took two days to just get the order right. AA had them built and on the way in that same couple days.

rodney69
They did just tell me that out was possibly 3 weeks wait for yellow Supremes, but they found 30 in cali. I don't need them yet though. Seems that supervisor colors everywhere else is special order and min. 50 machines

rodney69
The yellow is sharp That's my goal. I have several taco spots with yellow in there building, so I'm trying to make them all the same, as a way to be exclusive. Do you have any issues with people figuring out the front to back .50 mech? titandist
Buy Oaks, they are the best machine there is and they come in many colors, yellow also. The 50 coin mechs they have are the best ones and with the new coin sweep they have with the spring on it I never have a problem with excess coins on the chute shield. You can vend anything out of them and they hold up great. I have never had a problem vending capsules out of them or skipped vends no matter what the weight of the product is. If you are going to buy machines start off with the best.
rodney69
Oak said they won't sell anything other than the red right now. They're trying to sell all of the recons first. They're my first choice.

If you are going to buy machines start off with the best. That's open for debate. Most folks say beaver is. Oak said they won't sell anything other than the red right now. havending
Beaver sucks, they take waaay to long to service I actually agree on that. The round globes are not user friendly either.
musser
Yea, it's one thing to have a dozen machines and all the time in the world to service them and routes of machines that you are paying someone to service time is money. In my book, with time study's to back it up northwesterns for racks and oak vista panel heads for charity
gumhead
I'm curious - why Oaks for charity rather than NW?
havending
I'm curious - why Oaks for charity rather than NW? Smaller head takes less product to look full. That's my reason
titandist
You don't need 2 different types of machines. Use Oaks they are the best. Oak vistas are the right size to use, they hold enough product, easy to service, no skipping, great mech especially the 50 mech with the new coin sweep. NW super 60's are good machines but you don't need that size for either rack or charity machines. You can always get a cab for extended capacity if needed. Rather than buying a new globe when needed you can go to a plastic company and get a new front plastic panel for around $3.00 compared to what a new globe will cost you. The more different machines you use the more different parts you need. Use one type of small machine only.
rodney69
On charity, you can put a cab back on top extend service. On racks, oak now has a quick collect like the northwestern, which was why a lot of people used the NW. I'm going to stick with oak and eagle, except for some I have too go to the AA to get the color I want.
Makes Cents
The oaks are good machines but coin collection on racks is a pain when you have to pull every body off to collecting coins ( I know they have new quick collect but for the extra price Im close to cost of a nw60) To me the main advantage of oak is they are the lowest price. Both are good quality machine made in USA
