Grumpy Cat Stickers

Is anyone having good sales with Grumpy Cat stickers? I just received some from Flatline. I put them in two of my laundromat locations. One of the laundromats is attended and the attendant bought three of them while I was there. I'm hoping they do well. I have to admit some of them are kind of funny.

I just started putting them out so I don't have any feedback yet.  Hopefully they do well but it looks like it could be feast or famine with them.  Only ordered 5 boxes to try them out.

I can see grumpy cat dropping off very abruptly. To me it's in the same category as dawgs stickers, wacky rectangles, cool r3ctangles, etc.

Yes, that stuff can drop off REAL fast!

Remember Duck Dynasty or Angry Birds?  Anyone still running those?

I was skeered of them.

They give me cat scratch fever

I collected a grumpy cat location today and it kept pace with Frozen right next to it.  I suspect the wait staff found it funny and it could be a one time deal but you never know.  Hopefully the other places do as well as the one today.

I checked one of my locations on the way to work this morning at it looked like there was about $5 in the tray. I didn't think that was too bad for less than a week. I'll check it again at the end of my monthly service cycle.

So far they seem to be selling well. I checked both locations where I have them and each location has sold about $10 in just under 2 weeks. I'm happy with that. Much better than I saw with Dud Dynasty. Those never sold more than a few dollars per month and ended up in 25 cent mystery mix. If Grumpy Cat can sustain this kind of performance for 2 or 3 months I will be pleased.

Hey I was moving towards getting into sticker machines myself...trying to move a little away from candy...stickers do really well?and how long can you let your stock build up before you have to go and service the machine?

Service intervals vary by location. I have some locations and products that can go 90 days without servicing, and I have others that need to be restocked twice per month (those are my high volume locations, and it's usually NFL stickers that sell out that fast). Aside from my locations that blow out of NFL stickers, most of my locations are on a 30 day cycle; but I could probably go 60 days for some of them. All of my flat machines are on racks with other products, so you always set your service cycle for the fastest selling product. Most of my racks have at least one product that will sell out or come close to selling out in 30 day cycles, so that is how often I service.

Stickers in general are not a big seller. It's usually licensed items (like NFL) or trendy things (like Grumpy Cat) that sell well. Otherwise, your main flat sellers will always be temporary tattoos. Hope this helps.

Grumpy cats are doing good. Frozen is still killing it. I'm going to ride them hard until the next movie this summer. A good rule of thumb for flat vending or guys getting into it. Stick with just tattoos. Once you get 50 or so flat heads hit the popular stickers hard. They fly out of those machines, and can be moved really easy with volume. Just don't hesitate on the new thing!

Thanks to both of you...I still have to maintain my regular candy route for now..but I already have a sticker machine and wanted to put it with my route that's 90 miles away...so I needed it to last awhile, since I don't service my candy route for 5 to 7 week intervals..which works out well for the customers and myself..thanks again..jerry
