PerformaVending
Some time ago I bought a bunch of bulk machines from an operator getting out of the business. He said that for another $50, he'd throw in his "arcade machine"- an LAX Rotary Merchandiser (HERE). I figured I could probably find it a home somewhere, and bought it. It languished in storage all summer, as I didn't have any immediate locating plans for it, and other projects took precedent over it. Now it's time has come, and after messing around with it for awhile, it's actually in pretty good shape both mechanically and cosmetically. The one major downside to it is that I haven't a clue where to get the little round containers the prizes are kept in. There were a few empties squirreled away in the machines' lower portion, but they don't have anything printed on them. I know plenty of suppliers for the toys, but finding the little round containers has been troublesome- largely because I don't even know what they're actually called. Has anyone ever used a machine like this, and if so, where's a good place to get the containers for the toys? Any and all advice on this is appreciated! psk007
I still run several of the lax jr's on the street. As a matter of fact I just placed an order for more dishes today. The company that sells the dishes already to go into your lax is Noel Industries. There web site is www.noelindustries.com. They will be able to help you out. ED8it
While I agree that Noel is the best (they invented the LAX rotory), just about everyone in the prize business (A&A, Rhode Island, etc) sell merchandise "kits" for this machine, however, does anyone know a source for the empty capsules? On a related note, How about those "Big colored plastic gems" that are showing up in Top-of-the-line claw machines as a gravel? They sure are attractive, but I have been unable to find a source for them.

PerformaVending
Finally talked to Noel on the phone today. Really great people, and they gave me a killer deal getting back into the operation. I didn't catch the man's name, but he gave me some machine care, maintenance, and locating tips as well. I'm honestly kind of shocked at how easy it was once I got on the phone. Thanks again for the tip guys, this is going to be great!
GrabNGo
Hey, I know I'm really late, but does anyone have one of these for sale? Like the machine? Thanks!
PerformaVending
Hey, I know I'm really late, but does anyone have one of these for sale? Like the machine? Thanks! Search CL, eBay, and then for arcade dealers. There were a LOT of models made by a lot of different companies, so they aren't too hard to find, at least not up here. Noel is still in business too, and they had a lot they were refurbishing when I talked to them. Good luck!
