blankcnvs
Hello. I lost the key to my Eagle gumball machine and was wondering if someone had any tips for getting a replacement key -- something short of drilling out the old lock and replacing it. Any thoughts? I'm a newbie, so I'm appreciative of any and all advice on this matter. Thanks in advance.
dkochan
Call Eagle Mfg and order a lock and key with the same code to the one that you lost. Their phone # is 909-447-7866.

blankcnvs
I assume PS-11 is the model number. Is there a serial number anywhere on the gumball machine? Or is that not an issue?
rodney69
It's the key/ lock code that they use so you know what you have.
blankcnvs
Yes, I'm aware of that. Does anyone know where it's located on the machine? I've checked the entire underside, the lock, etc... Thanks for all the help.
rodney69
It's not on the machine, it's on the side of the lock. You can't see it unless it's out.
blankcnvs
Okay... Thanks. That stinks...as I obviously can't access the lock if the key was misplaced...

orsd
take a flat head screw driver, whack it into the keyslot, then use vise grips to wrench it back and forth and unscrew it I assume PS-11 is the model number. Is there a serial number anywhere on the gumball machine? Or is that not an issue? ps 11 isnt a model number, probably just a casting mark or pn the models are 747, cab ,and 300? there are no serials
blankcnvs
I just heard from Eagle. It looks like the only option is the either drill the lock out or bring it to a locksmith. Unless anyone else has an idea... Thank you again to everyone...
rodney69
Use a flat head screw driver like orsd said first. If that does't work, then drill it. The locks are inexpensive. If you drill it, let us know. I think we've all done it!
