vendstar 4000 reviews

I'm thinking about purchasing 6 vendstar 4000 machines and wanted to get some reviews on them. I have read on here that some people like the vendstar machines and that others hate them. I'm looking for feedback from people that have actually used these machines. What do you like about them and what do you dislike about them?

Extremely quick to service, change product and make repairs. Great machines for break rooms and service stations. They are not asthetically pleasing but if cleaned and serviced regularly that are adequate. The little doors (that cover the front of the chute) break off easily but are easy to replace and get more of, I've bought quite a few right off this forum. I can tell you more if you desire but do not pay more than $40-50 per for machines in great working order. I have been able to get most of mine got $30 but some people will tell you even that is too much. Post pictures and I can give you more feedback as well .

That feedback is pretty much all you need to know sam. The coin mechs are easy to break by an adult. Be sure to sweep the chute covers when you service. As much as $2-$3 will get hung up on them. Perfect for breakrooms and mostly employee traffic. For $300 you can buy 12 vendstars, four 1-800s or three Northwestern Triple Plays on average. At those prices, I'd prefer:

1) 1-800 2) vendstar 3) TriplePlay

If money is not the biggest considertion the TriplePlay is my favorite hands down. The mechs are like butter and you sleep better knowing your machine is humming along until you're back for service.

Has anyone tried the new vendstar upgraded stainless steel chute door by snack attack vending? This is my main problem with the vendstar machine in regards to doors breaking off. I am now upgrading to northwestern machines.
