I was updating my asset list today and reminiscing a little. I still have some machines with single digit asset numbers on location. They are Northwestern Super 60s I bought used in  1985. I can buy every part they need and easily upgrade to 50 cents. So, for thirty years I have the use of great trouble free machines and no problem finding parts. Think about it.

Sometimes saving money is not saving money! With all of what your going through pay for itself? I understand starting out with nothing, believe me, but it's not always worth it to modify and save a few bucks when you can buy used singles and doubles really reasonable. There are members on here that would sell you equipment that will outlast less quality and be about the same cost.

I understand wanting to start cheap and all. I did, I started with 19 really used NW 60s that I had to paint. But I started knowing what I wanted to do and never went off course so the NW 60 made sense from the beginning for me. Its just the best thing ever to have machines that have made me money every day for the last 30 years and are still great machines.
