miketan
Hi everyone, hopefully a quick and basic question. I have several Saeco SG200 and Rubino units. With the older SG200 models I typically unplugged the automatic cup dispenser and simply disabled the automatic cup under 'System Management'. I have tried to do the same with a new SG200 (Rubino unit) and unfortunately it's not working. The coffee grinder operates but the machine creates an error due to the disconnected cup dispenser. Anyone got any ideas of how to sort this out? Much appreciated for any help in advance.
Greatdane
I just used strong tape to hold down the cup sensor switch. works perfectly without cups. Peace, Greatdane
miketan
Thanks Greatdane thats a good option. I was trying to remove the complete cup dispensing unit and re-program the machine as you can in the older SG200's however I found this isn't possible in the Rubino. Tape does the trick though
lifeisgrand
Does it still dispense the sugar and stir stick, with the tape?
Greatdane
After taping, the Saeco SG200 has setting "dispense stick" and customer selects sugar as a added option, the cup holding arm still positions for the sugar/stir stick dispensing to the left. If customer uses own cup, they would need to insert low height cup and temporarily hold to the left just as the arm activates the sugar release mechanism. The customer would then return to center to continue dispense. I find it easier to allow a selection called "no cup" in the beverage set up and those that still want regular dispense selection 2-8 with cup have the option (Button 1 is like a shift key allowing access to programmed beverages 9-15) I set my selections 9-15 the same as 2-8 but with 9-15 metering extra dispense of 4 ounces to fill a 10-12 oz coffee cup. This of course is .25-.50 cents extra but the coffee cup is full instead of the half empty looking. Also, the double shot is in there too. If the customer moves the cup just right when cream is dispensed, you can make a decorative effect like the boutique coffee shops. Dekinha
Do you know if Can I connect a MEI cashflow 7000series to a Saeco Cristallo 400? Thank you
AZVendor
Only if there is an MDB connection for it along with a place to mount the mech along with a coin insert slot.
