Good deal?

Workman Vending

Recommended Posts

Nope, crummy machine I sold all mine for under $50.00 each just to be rid of the hassle. The machine has some asthetic appeal which is why I sprung for them initially but they are serious flaws in almost every other facet of the machine, cheap mechs, hard to change product adjust settings, very heavy to tranport and place, the list is lengthy.

I disagree with the above comments.  I got started in vending with just a few of those machines.  Several are still out there scoring quarters.  The mechs are pretty durable.  I used one of these for years in a location doing $100 a month alone and I never replaced anything on it.  I eventually upgraded to a candy rack or else it would still be there.  The downside to these is that they must be in $50+/ month locations because they hold a lot of product.  Changing candies is difficult, so make sure you put what is going to sell well in the first place.  It's not the type of machine you can use in every location.  I've resold some of these for $100-125 each online, but you should be able to buy that one for $50.  They are super quick and easy to service:  pop the lid to refill and a quarter turn lock on back to remove coins.

If you're looking to get a feel for vending, then buy it for $50 and if it doesn't work out for you, then you can resell the machine for more.  Hope this helps!

Looks like my route masters. I started vending with those in 1994. Recently bought some brand new still in the box and some used for about $20 each. I agree changing candy is a pain but servicing is quick. I wouldn't pay $75 for a used one. Several of the original ones I started with and placed in 1994 are still in the same location and are in great condition doing $25-$35 a month.
