candygirl
I have a question too. Do you take the entire mech apart to clean and then lube? A little scared to do this.
shvend
you don't have to take the whole mech apart, but it is better to do that. Just take and place some vaseline down in the quarter slot and place a quarter in the mech and play it several times and it will lube it right up! AmuseStar Vending Co
Its not as hard as some think to take them apart. It is very straight forward. Remove the 4 back plate screws, take off the gear, pull out the handle (Sometimes you have to use a screwdriver and wedge it up on the higher quality mechs), then pull off the back plate, take out the coin wheel, and your done. that1dude
Since we're on the topic, how often should one lube their coin mech?

AmuseStar Vending Co
I never lube any of my mechs. It is to hard to do so when you have little time to spend at every stop. I have never had a problem. Kyle
