marketing and selling

I want to sell toys but I guess the same goes for candy also. If would like to place it in supermarkets for I would place it at the entrance. I mostly see the machines behind the check out counter but that just doesn't make sense to me: is Mom really going to buy a toy after dragging the kids through the store for an hour and saying no 200 times after having payed 100 dollars for grocaries?

Do you guys think that that manager would agree to place a bulk vending machine next to the entrance?

I am also trying to come up with a slogan like: "Buy a toy and buy piece", "Shop in peace" or "one toy and distract your kids" or something like that. Do you think the manager would get pissed off?Maybe the kids would too?

I was also thinking and I haven't seen this anywhere of placing a sign behind the machine with a swooshing bouncy ball. I would probably attach it to the machine.

One reason to place machines after the registers is that shoppers spend their bills and receive change, so they are more likely to have coins after shopping than before.

As for the slogan, you should write one that does not imply children are a hassle or burden. They may be from time to time, but having a third party say such a thing will be received negatively, perhaps as an insult. Note this is coming from an English-speaking American; this may not be a consideration in your language and culture.

"Buy a toy and maybe the monster will shut up!"
