Homies

So obviously the "Homies" series was a huge hit when it was released in the late ninety's. I think I have read something somewhere that it was the item that transitioned the two inch capsule to a fifty cent vend. Do any of you guys remember the cost per 250 in the ninety's? I am just curious to see how the profit margin compares to today's profit margin at a dollar vend.

It was in the 35 range. I could be wrong but I know it's real close. Looking at value vs. cost it's way off for this reason. Back in the early 2000s us like many other operators were already at .75 and even 1.00 on many items including homies. What we got for .12 or .13 cent was a larger better item than now. Now they call it a dollar vend and charge 50 or even 65 for a box of 250. But many operators called the nice product a 1.00 vend when we paid far less. In that aspect value is far less now. I am not knocking any supplier just giving an honest answer.

The the power bands we got for 7 cent in bulk. And capped our self. We were ordering 5000 a time and selling at a buck.

The zombie homies did ok. Just not great. We ran at a buck. I think the other homies that just came out will be better they are more like the original.
