Workman Vending Posted August 9, 2015 Share Posted August 9, 2015 This was the very first machine that I bought when I decided to do this, but it's been sitting in the basement. It's pretty nasty and I'm finally getting around to trying to clean it up and refurb it. I've gotten it apart except for the hopper. I've taken the little screws out that hold it to the body of the machine but the button on top of the rod that operates the back door lock and the metal guides that hold the dividers in place keep me from getting it out. How do I get the hopper out so I can give it a good cleaning? There's no way I'm gonna put food in this thing with the shape it's currently in. EDIT: Not sure why this posted twice. Bravo Duck Posted August 9, 2015 Share Posted August 9, 2015 Unscrew the back door rod counterclockwise and pull it out, then tilting the hopper so that it clears the tabs pull it up. Run it through a dishwasher and it will be good as new. Edited to add: that if you don't have the center rod out you have to take it out too, so you can tilt the hopper.
