MBE
I am new to vending. I bought four Uturn machines used. The guy I bought them from knew nothing about them. He had acquired them when he bought out someone who was getting out of the business. He was into Coke machines, and the Uturn machines just came with larger drink machines. I think these Maybe old machines. I went on youtube to find a video on them. The videos showed canisters with wheels in the bottom. My machines have a PVC like tube at the base that hooks to the coin mechanism and spin to dump out candy. Does anybody know about these? I wondered if they are old, could I buy more modern pieces on ebay, and are they interchangeable?

Not sure if they're the same by your description? agree a photo of the issue? Mine are fairly basic machines, suggest take one apart and put it back together to learn how it all works. rodney69
Those are over 25 years old! They are the first design after the 2 That were working together split. They are not easy to use and the plastic figures break easy and then the customer gets 5 times what they're supposed to. I just threw away tons of that stuff. Let me know if you have questions
MBE
Thanks for the info. Are any of the parts like the body interchangeable?
rodney69
The only parts that are close is the metal mid section and the lower body/ base. The lid works, but it's tight.
jameyh
Do you have any pictures of the rest of the machine? I'd just like to see them.
rodney69
If you can, take a pic of the top view of the mid section so everyone can see the pin type mech and so on. It's similar to Vendesign. If you look at the bottom of the cylinder, You can see the numbers for settings. If you have downloaded the settings or have setting numbers to set them at for Uturns, DO NOT USE THEM! Those are for the new style!! You will need to set your current one 1/2 of what any other Uturn is set at!

rodney69
Which one? Vendesign? Or Uturn? Big difference in set up.
PerformaVending
Woah, that's an oldie. Don't hear about U-Turns that old very often- clunker machines that got mostly scrapped ages ago. Similar guts to the Ultravends, though not nearly as sturdy. I had the opportunity to buy one once, but thankfully passed.
