Just in case it has been misunderstood, 'penny candy' refers to small pieces of candy that are sold individually, and the term has adapted with inflation, so it does not mean candies sold only for a penny. It sounds like he's selling a bulk candy machine. Aaaaaand rereading your post it looks like I misunderstood what you were saying--missed the "full line" part.
