Dippin Dots Gumballs

When I first saw them on A&A's website, I was rather skeptical. As a name-brand I don't know that it conveys well enough to push a product like gumballs, but... I guess that remains to be seen. Definitely let us know how they do. I might be tempted to try them out after-all.

I don't have a current price sheet, how much are they?

Mainor, havending is right. It's 31.62 per box. There are 900 in the box and all zed gum is 15% off until the end of January. Shipping for me was just over $16.

I landed two dipping dots shops with them. Ordered 2 yellow wiz kids to sell them in

So you're gong to sell dippin dots gum in a dippin dots shop? lol that's awesome.

Update on the Dippin Dots. After one month on 3 locations, it seems to be doing about the same as regular DB. I put it in two of my better spots and thought the quarters would be rolling in. I am going to run it until it's all gone, maybe consolidate it into two or one location but I feel it's not worth the $50 a case. Maybe people think it has a strange taste with the name Dippin Dot's attached to them, who knows. You don't know until you try.

I would but I'm not large enough to order multiple cases at once.

How about just mixing with good ole inexpensive 850 asst?? Maybe one Dippin-Dot for every 5 of the assorted. Either use both displays or start with the basic 850 assorted and add 'Now with Dippin-dots'...

Most folks just want a piece of gum, but every once in a while a somebody will walk by who loves dippin dots and will put in 3 or 4 quarters until they get one.

That's a good idea, that might work.

I bought some, but I use them to get into locations or where there is competition, maybe specialty like what HA Vending did. The specialty stuff is just that imo. It wouldn't be a bad idea to use a bigger globe, only place in restaurants or specialty shops though. It would provide a better presentation than average gum, but I think you're right. In the average location it seems to not make much difference. I've tested all shapes and sizes and when it comes to just gum with no competition, it doesn't seem to make much difference.

I'm moving to 1080 or even one step lower soon.

Yeah I feel like it would be a good thing to get your foot in the door having a unique product but besides that not worth it.  I am going to start running 1080 soon. Unless you know, can you really tell a difference between the 24mm and 23mm if you're someone buying it at a location that ran 24mm before?
