mppuzzled
So, I am really new to the vending business. I have about 6 TripleVend candy stands right now. I purchase all of my candy at Sams Club. I am a little concerned about my portion size. What is a fair amount to give on every turn? Below are my current portions... will this be profitable or should I lower them? Peanut M&M's 8-10 Plain M&M's 20-25 Skittles 25-29 Reeses Pieces 12-15 Mike & Ikes 8-10 What do you think fair and profitable portion amounts should be? Thanks for your help! GagesVending
Peanut M&M's 8-10 (6-7) Plain M&M's 20-25 (10-12) Skittles 25-29 (10-12) Reese's Pieces 12-15 (10-12) Mike & Ikes 8-10 (7-9) You're too high on all of them. Especially your chocolate candies. Chocolate is too expensive and I'm personally keeping it to a minimum recently.
QuikVend
The numbers GagesVending suggested are almost identical to what I'm running, no complaints yet. I think I run the skittles a bit higher, but not much. The higher margin helps cover the lower margin chocolates
