tevans62
Got a new $1 Greenwald V5 coin slide mech in and it tends to stick, gets tougher to push in, near the end of slide. I have to push harder to get the 4 quarters to slide all the way thru and drop. I took it out of machine and sprayed some brake cleaning fluid in it. Ran a bunch of quarters thru it and it seemed to loosen up some. Do I need to loosen some screw or check something else to get this to slide smoothly? Any help would be much appreciated!! BouncyBalls
Call Greenwald and see what they suggest. I would spray some lubricant in it though.
Toad
For take a couple pictures of it so if you have problems putting it back together afterwards, you can refer back to photos. Unhook 2 long springs, unscrew 2screws on top towards the end, clean it out, it is most likely full of toothpicks, paper or a straw
BouncyBalls
Yea , what Toad said. I assumed it was brand new never used. If has been on location then that probably is the reason.

tevans62
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. What's best for lubricating these things?
