There seem to be a million of these things in the Wisconsin Dells, and they're all just a little different for the most part. Anyone ever run one of these? I have to admit I don't know if that specific machine existed before the movie Big or not. The company that makes the Zoltar machine also makes custom machines, and they advertise a "tiki hut" as an option for molding. They could have gotten one custom made from there, or they could have re-purposed an older machine. They start at $5,500, $7,500 for the animatronics, so they aren't cheap. Pay $600 more and you can add the option to add a remote microphone, and give live comments to people. (I would love to do that.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They did have a Zoltar at the opposite end of the place, and it was similar in construction. The "Big Kahuna" doesn't look too far off from the original Zoltar, so they truly may have just put a hawaiian shirt on a Zoltar. Wow... it's like something out of a horror movie! Yikes! It does make you wonder how many they manufacture. Must be enough demand to keep them making more though. Good find sir!
