I just came across an FSI / USI 3039

The Bill Validator takes a few bills then has trouble with the next. [$1 insert then vend, $1 insert then vend & repeat - then stops]

Make: Nippon Conlux Co., LTD

Model: NB2-16A-400

I want to change the whole BV all together. Looks like a single price soda machine harness - not too sure.

Can the forum please help me out in this situation I am up against.

Happy Mother's Day - Mothers!

That's an old Maka... you can get an upgrade harness to put a newer unit in, but also check the mounting.  Some of the older Maka's used a mounting system that does not match today's standard.  You can sometimes get an adapter plate.  AZ will probably have the right parts for you....

For ease of installation, I think it's best to get an adapter harness that converts your existing MAKA harness to an mei harness. It's really easy that way.

Thank you both for your expertise, I will contact AZVendor for the harness and search online.

Fortunately it has the "Standard Bill Validator Mounting"

Also, Can you use the Lutech Conversion Kits on these machines?

Just curious.

If the machine has a snackmart 3 board, you may be able to get an InOne board for $315. It's a much better upgrade for the cost than the lutech item. Find out which board it has.

In all honesty though, you're better off just changing the harness and adding a newer validator.

Angrychris,

Thank you for your honesty and support....buying the harness or finding in my mess of supplies and parts is what I plan on doing.

I was just wondering on the conversion kits because I just bought like ten of them at my bargain price finds [used one already to upgrade an AP7600 to mdb]

Thanks again.
