packs179
I was test vending 1 inch caps in my Oak Panel Head and the first 2 or 3 vends go fine but then the mech jams. The coins seem to pile up right where the mech drops them and they don't end up falling down into the base. Is there a way to get the coins to fall down instead of piling up? Is there a way to get the coins to fall down instead of piling up?Yep, that's a common problem for Oaks. Two things you can do. Get a really small hose clamp and see if you can wrap it around the underside of the sprocket gear. If you can attach a spring to it to sweep the coins off the chute cover. If not cut a piece of 1/2" PVC pipe and lay it across the chute cover. It should be about 5" long so it doesnt fall off. It wont stop them all but it will help.Another thing I do is to modify the back plate so that the coins will shoot out away from the chute cover. PM me with your cell # if you want and i can send you a pic. Easy 5 minute job.
