Are these worth refurbishing

Hi! So I have a chance to buy these 2 spirals in the morning for $25 for both.  Could anyone tell me if I can get parts for them easily and where? How much do you think they will cost to fix? I'm assuming they need coin mech's, the face plate, and new locks. Any info appreciated.

What happened to those poor machines I wonder? From the looks of it, they are missing the front plate, coin mech, a chunk of the spiral inside (unless they are just coiled together somehow), and I suspect they'd also need locks and keys.

I will check and see if I can track down the Revolution's manufacturer, and see if they're still selling parts/in business. I'm sure I put it in my notes around here somewhere.

I'm not sure if the Revolution is still being manufactured. It was a Gumballs.com product if memory serves, but I'm not entirely sure. The hardest part in my opinion to get will be that front plate that holds the mech in position. I'm sure something could be built in it's place, but that's a lot of time and effort invested before you even get your first vend.

If you really love to tinker, or absolutely love hunting down obscure parts, I'd say go for it, otherwise I'd say pass. It is very easy to get a bunch of "good deal" machines in your garage that you're going to work on "someday" that never make it out on the route- I know this from experience.

Whatever you choose to do, good luck!
